CORUSCANT - SENATE BUILDING - DAY

Revan is walking through the Senate Building, he is in the office section, there are many doors on both sides, each one leading to a private office, with many people inside. He can hear muffled voices, the occasional laughter and the constant buzzing of activity. he finally reaches the office of Riyo Chuchi, Revan see's two Pantoran guards standing on either side of the door. He approaches them, and with a polite nod.

Revan: Excuse me, I'm here to see Senator Chuchi, is she available?

The senior guard steps forward.

Senior Guard: Is this a matter of urgency, Master Jedi?

Revan shakes his head.

Revan: Not particularly, no. Jedi business.

The senior guard nods and steps inside the office, speaking quietly into a comms device. There is a moment of hesitation before he turns back to Revan.

Senior Guard: The senator will see you now.

The senior guard gestures for Revan to enter. As Revan steps into the office, he takes in the luxurious surroundings: thick carpets, expensive artwork on the walls, and a large viewport offering a panoramic view of the cityscape beyond. A woman with short-cropped white hair, wearing a stylish business suit, stands behind a sleek wooden desk. Her posture is confident and elegant, and her eyes sparkle with intelligence.

Riyo: Oh, Revan, what are you doing here? I thought you were still on Geonosis?

Revan: The siege ended sooner than expected, so we were able to return here more quickly than anticipated. I hoped I wasn't disturbing anything important.

Riyo smiles warmly at him and gestures for him to take a seat across from her desk.

Riyo: Did you use that as an excuse to come see me? If people didn't know any better, they might think that you and I are... close. (serious) Revan, you know I want nothing more than to see you. But my position here... and you a Jedi...

Revan nods understandingly.

Revan: I apologize if my presence here seems inappropriate, but I just wanted to see you. I knew you'd understand. When we first started seeing each other, you know that we'd have to hide it from people, especially my Order.

Riyo nods, her expression softening.

Riyo: In any case, I'm glad you're here.

Revan leans forward, resting his elbows on his knees.

Revan: I know, and I appreciate that. I just wish things could be different. But with this war, everything seems so... precarious.

Riyo: (chuckles) If anybody's being precarious, it's you. Having an affair as a Jedi Knight... I mean, it's not exactly something you can hide on a planetary scale, you know? But as long as we're careful...

Revan smiles weakly.

Revan: I feel like I'm living a double life. I can't help but feel like I'm letting my Order down... but some rules that were made centuries ago, they just don't seem relevant anymore. I mean, look at you. You're a respected Senator. A powerful, influential woman. And you're still the same Riyo I fell in love with.

Riyo: And you're still the same Revan I fell in love with. That's why we have to be so careful. But... maybe things will change. Maybe, in time, we can be together openly. Who knows what the future holds?

Revan sighs heavily, his shoulders slumping.

Revan: I wish that were true. But I've been thinking... maybe I need to confront the Council. Maybe I can convince them that these rules need to be re-examined. That we can find a way to be together without compromising our duties or our beliefs... and if that means leaving the Order, then so be it. I can live with that.
