EXIT OF MOS ESPA
Revan, Anakin and the outsiders stop at a fruit stand run by a friendly, old lady named Jira.
Anakin: Here, you'll like these pallies... Here.
Qui-Gon: Thank you.
Qui-Gon takes them putting them in a little pouch under his poncho, revealing for a moment, his lightsaber, Revan notices it for a split second, confirming the theory he made back at Watto's Junk Shop.
Jira: Oh, my bones are aching ... storm's coming up, boys. You'd both better get back home quick.
Anakin: (to Qui-Gon) Do you have shelter?
Qui-Gon: We'll head back to our ship.
Anakin: Is it far?
Padme: It's on the outskirts.
Revan: You'll be caught in the sandstorm before you can reach your ship... Come with us! we'll take you to are place.
The group follows Revan and Anakin as they all rush down the windy street. R2 whistles along the way.
SLAVE QUARTERS - REVAN AND ANAKIN'S HOME
Anakin: Mom! We're home.
Jar Jar: Dissen cozy.
Anakin's mother, Shmi Skywalker, a warm, friendly woman of forty, enters from her work area and is startled to see the room full of people.
Anakin: These are mine and Revan friends, Mom.
Jar Jar: Hello!
R2 lets out a little beep.
Qui-Gon: I'm Qui-Gon Jinn, Your son here was kind enough to offer us shelter.
Revan: (To Shmi) I hope you mind, there ship was out in the middle of the outskirts and would've gotten caught in the sandstorm.
Shmi only gives Revan warm smile.
Shmi: I understand, they can stay here as long as they need.
ANAKIN: I'm building a droid. You wanna see? Come on! I'll show you Threepio!
Anakin leads Padme into the other room. R2 follows, beeping all the way.
TIME-SKIP
Qui-Gon, Revan, Anakin, Jar Jar, and Padme are seated around a table. Shmi walks over pouring everyone a drink.
Shmi: All slaves have transmitters placed inside their bodies somewhere.
Anakin: I've been working on a scanner to try and locate mine.
Revan: Any attempt to escape...
Anakin: ... and they blow you up ... boom!
Jar Jar: How wude.
Padme: I can't believe there is still slavery in the galaxy. The Republic's anti-slavery laws...
Revan: The Republic doesn't exist out here...as far as I can see it The Republic couldn't care enough about us.
JAR JAR snatches some food from a bowl at the other end of the table with his tongue. Revan glares at Jar Jar and gives him a dirty look.
Jar Jar: 'Scuse me.
