The next morning, Lavanya woke up with a heavy heart, still reeling from the hurt of the previous night. As she went about her morning routine, Varun's casual demeanor grated on her nerves. He acted as if nothing had happened, as if his hurtful words could be brushed aside with a simple apology.
When Varun made a sarcastic comment about the breakfast she had prepared, Lavanya felt a surge of frustration bubbling within her. But before she could respond, Varun waved it off with a dismissive gesture, saying, "It's just office frustration, Lavanya. Let's leave it at that."
Lavanya felt a wave of indignation wash over her. How could he brush off his hurtful behavior so easily, as if her feelings didn't matter? But instead of speaking up, she bit her lip and forced herself to stay silent, not wanting to rock the boat any further.
Throughout the day, Varun continued to act as if nothing had happened, his indifference a constant reminder of their fractured relationship. And as they went about their daily routines, Lavanya couldn't shake off the feeling of resentment brewing within her, knowing that Varun's apology was nothing more than a shallow attempt to sweep their problems under the rug.
As they sat down to dinner that evening, the tension between them was palpable. Lavanya tried to force a smile, to pretend like everything was okay, but inside, she felt like her heart was breaking. How could she continue living like this, with a husband who couldn't even acknowledge his own mistakes?
As they ate in strained silence, Lavanya couldn't help but wonder if their marriage would ever be the same again. And as the weight of their unspoken words hung heavy in the air, she realized that the road to forgiveness would be a long and difficult journey, one that she wasn't sure she was ready to embark on.
