In their quiet room, Varun knew he had to tell Lavanya something important. He took a deep breath and began to speak softly.
"Lavanya," he said, "there's something I need to tell you, something I should have told you before."
Varun explained why he chose to marry Lavanya. He liked that she was educated and thought she could help him with their family's problems.
He also thought she would be easier to control than a city girl, who might have lots of expectations.
He confessed that he didn't marry Lavanya because he loved her, but because it was convenient for him. He didn't want to marry a girl from a rich family because he didn't like the idea of doing whatever they asked.
He also admitted that he chose Lavanya over other girls because he thought she would be easier to control. He didn't want a girl from the city because he thought they would have too many expectations and wouldn't take care of his family like Lavanya would.
Varun then shared another frustration. He had hoped that Lavanya, with her education, would find a job and help lift the family's burdens. But she chose to stay home as a homemaker. Meanwhile, Varun was left to shoulder everyone's needs. He saw his colleagues and friends, who were the same age as him, enjoying their lives, going out, and having fun. This added to his stress and disappointment, which often caused him to lash out at Lavanya in anger.
But when Varun told Lavanya all this, she was heartbroken. She realized that Varun didn't marry her because he loved her, but because he thought she would be useful to him.
Lavanya felt like her dreams of a happy marriage were crushed. She was hurt and angry.she wasn't chosen for who she was, but for what she could do for Varun.
Varun could see how much he had hurt Lavanya, and he felt terrible about it. He told her he was sorry and that he didn't mean to hurt her. He promised to make things right.
But Lavanya didn't know if she could trust Varun again. She felt like their relationship was broken.
As they sat in silence, Varun promised himself that he would do everything he could to earn back Lavanya's trust. He knew it wouldn't be easy, but he was determined to try.
And as the sun rose outside their window, Varun and Lavanya faced a new day together, not knowing what the future held, but hoping they could find a way to make things right.
