"So that's her. I thought she was more... well, no, she is exactly like I thought." Stephanie glanced back at the stables, watching Mel head towards the bar and quickly strike up a conversation with Lewis Hamilton.

"She is definitely his type," Susie remarked, watching Jack run off to his father.

"Who? Toto's type or Lewis' type?" Stephanie chuckled.

"Both. But I was talking about our ex-husband and Joanne. She is tall, very attractive, and seems very smart. And the times I've met her, she was actually pretty nice to me." She was observing Toto closely, who was talking to Lawrence Stroll and his wife.

"Attractive, you say. Bit young too, if you ask me. I wonder what they had to talk about," Stephanie speculated aloud. "Or if they just fu—" Susie cut her off.

"I really do not want to know that." Susie went over to the Horners, and Jackie grabbed Stephanie again.

Toto wandered around, trying to find Lewis, who was still chatting with Mel at the bar. They made quite the couple, deeply invested in their conversation about the fashion industry and reminiscing about an event they attended a few years back.

Needing a moment for himself, Toto walked towards the stables, past the horses, until he found himself facing Bear at the back. He looked around, then let his head fall back, breathing out heavily. "Fucks sake," he mumbled, more to himself than anyone else.

Joanne tensed as she turned around, seeing Toto standing there with his hands in his pockets, unaware of her presence. Her anxiety swiftly turned into pure rage, and for a moment, she actually considered throwing a used horseshoe at him, hoping to knock him out. She stood there, hoping he would just turn around and leave, but apparently, she was out of luck.

He opened his eyes, turned his head, and looked into her eyes. Six months since her text. He hadn't heard from her in six months, and now she was just standing there, with a rage in her eyes he had never seen before.

Joanne wanted to say something, but her voice betrayed her. He stepped up to the door of the stable box, cutting off her only exit. He leaned against the wooden wall and examined her

carefully from top to bottom. She had become thinner, looked pale and a little overworked. But her aura was still strong, and she seemed tense, likely due to his presence.

"If you come any closer, I will scream," Joanne broke the silence.

Toto looked around. No one was there, and they were so far from the main event that no one would hear her anyway.

"Your friend is getting along with Lewis pretty well," he tried to make small talk, but she just glared at him. He should be the one mad at her, not the other way around.

"What do you want?" she spat, her voice boiling with anger as she crossed her arms in front of her chest. "Does she fuck as good as I did?"

Toto raised an eyebrow. "Who?"

"Your new partner, Sophie or something. Looks like an older version of Susie. At least you have a type." Her words made his brain mush, and it took him a few seconds to piece everything together.

He laughed now. "That's what this is about. You are jealous." He slowly walked up to her, but Joanne stood her ground, not moving an inch. "You lost that right that day, and if you want to know, Stephanie and I have two children."

He stopped in front of her, his body nearly touching hers. Her hand clenched around the horseshoe. Toto smiled down at her, and his perfume fogged her senses. She inhaled deeply, hoping he wouldn't notice his effect on her. She was still butter in his hands.

Slowly, he tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear, like he always did before he kissed her. She twitched slightly as his finger stroked her skin. He was playing with her again, and by all means, he was winning.

Joanne cleared her throat, stepped back, and said in a calm demeanor, "Leave and never come back."

He barely listened to her, his eyes fixed on her. Fuck, he missed her, and her standing here in her riding clothes did not make things easier. He felt a light twitch in his pants. Six months of not waking up next to her, not kissing her, not talking to her.

"Why?"

"Why do I want you to leave? Because you used me like a toy, and when you got bored, you threw me away."

"Isn't that the definition of an affair?" He tried to keep the upper hand here, but he had no idea what Joanne was talking about.

She stepped closer to him, closer than before, too close for his liking. Her body pressed against his, her lips only inches away from his.

"We fucked, so what? I fuck a lot of people, no big deal. But treating me like this, threatening to release the Hungary tape, that's low even for you." The hate in her voice nearly ripped him apart.

Joanne tried to walk past him, but he grabbed her arm, yanking her back and pushing her against one of the stable walls. With one hand, he held her hands down, and with the other, he cupped her jaw, making her look up at him. Her whole body shivered, even though she didn't want to give in. His dominance still turned her on, his handling of her set her imagination off."Are you thinking of me right now?" Toto's voice was full of secret desire. She stared at him. "No."

"But you still like this, huh?" His free hand roamed her body as she pressed her lips together. "Say it. Say you still desire me."

"Fuck you," but her voice broke, and the words crumbled into an unwanted moan. She could feel the heat between her legs and was moments away from jumping at him. His lips trailed her cheek. He nibbled on her ear, causing another moan to escape her lips.

His heated body pressed against hers, making her mind blank, just like the times before. She thought she could face him, resist him, but her body was not as strong as her mind, and her mind slowly gave in as well.

A slightly disappointed clearing of the throat brought them both back down to earth. Joanne glanced over Toto's shoulder and looked into the annoyed eyes of Stephanie, who had come to speak to Joanne in private, not to find them in this situation.

Toto, still with his back to the third person, whispered to Joanne, "Your message really hit me hard, and I didn't send you anything." Then he stepped back and disappeared.

Joanne could only grab the horseshoe and throw it behind him, but she missed, and it clattered loudly. She tried to straighten herself up and looked at Stephanie. "What?"

The Austrian woman just smirked at the sight in front of her. Now she understood a bit of what Toto saw in Joanne.
