"Nothing hypes me more than a good afterparty." Joanne pushed over a drink to Eloise who smiled from ear to ear.
"You were at the pre party as well, I heard." The little blonde looked up to her cousin in a short black dress already ordering the next drink from the barkeeper, who is eying her eagerly.
Now also armed with a drink, Joanne put her arm around Eloise's shoulders and made her way through the crowd, having already spotted Mel.
The race went quite well, she and Bear at least came third. The talk with Stephanie before was kinda awkward and the meeting with Toto was still present in her mind. She could still feel his touch on her skin, his husky words in her ears and the desire in her heart.
Mel already spottet a huge group of guys around her in her little red dress, causing nearly an uprising. Seeing a Victoria secret angel in the wild, some guys just can't handle.
"Kenny," she welcomed them, causing the attention to shift, now five pair of eyes stared at her, "thats my friend Kenny. She is the coolest person ever." Yup, Mel definitely had not stop drinking since the race started. How Joanne wished she would be this drunk as well right now.
"Lewis", she greeted on of them, "we've already met." The driver grinned, yeah they met. They met when she opened Totos door and Lewis starred in her soul. The others giggled a bit.
"Sorry but you all are very unfamiliar." Joanne sipped on her drink, glancing at each one of them.
After a small introduction round she knew there were Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso as well as Daniel Riccardo and Kimi Raikkonen. More Formula one people, great. But the look in their eyes said loud and clear, we know exactly who you are. One thing she definitely liked, is that they all had to look up to her, cause in her heels she was even taller.
Eloise just smiling, simply nipping her drink enjoying the awkward situation. Mel drunkenly already talking to Lewis again. The looks the driver is giving her friend, hints towards that Mel can ad a Formular one driver to her list of fucked sportsmen.
Joanne decided she had enough of this scene. "C'mon, Eloise. I need a smoke," she said, gently guiding her cousin away from the group.
As they left, she could feel the drivers' eyes on her, their whispered conversations continuing. They knew she was the one from Toto's room in Dubai. They seemed stunned by her presence, her height of 6'2" without heels, her heavily tattooed body, and her borderline attractive aura.
"Man, that's her," Sebastian muttered, taking another sip of his drink. "She's taller than half the grid."
"And those tattoos," Fernando added, shaking his head in disbelief. "Didn't expect someone like that with Toto." He looked after her, for a moment imagining Toto with her at his side. Yeah, in a weird way that works.
Lewis chuckled, still watching Mel. The gorgeous Model definetly caught his attention the second they arrived here. "Yeah, well, Toto's got his type, I guess."
"She's...intense," Daniel said, still looking in the direction Joanne had disappeared. "I can't believe she's the same one from Dubai."
Kimi remained silent, simply nodding in agreement, his eyes following Joanne until she was out of sight. The image of her, fierce and unapologetic, lingered in their minds. Even her subtle unfriendliness towards them, made her not stand out as rude. She was simply very honest.
Mel noticed the attention shifting back to her and took it in stride. "So, Mel," Sebastian started, "what's the deal with Joanne? She seems...different. She does not look like your typical trust fund baby."
Mel laughed, a bit tipsy but still coherent. "You'll have to ask her yourself. She's a bit of an enigma, even to me sometimes but she is one of my best fiends and I love her to death."
"Come on," Daniel pressed, "you must know something. What does she do? How does she know Toto? What actually happened between them."
"Seriously, guys," Mel insisted, "you have to ask her. She's not one to have her story told by others."
"She does have that same intimidating aura as Toto," Fernando noted, still curious. "Like she owns the room just by being in it."
Lewis nodded. "Yeah, she's got that presence. You can't ignore her."
Mel shrugged, taking another sip of her drink. "Like I said, you'll have to ask her. But good luck with that." She laughed, finishing her drink. "I need another one. How about you, Lewis?" she asked, pulling him towards the bar.
As they left, the other drivers huddled together, their eyes following Mel and Lewis for a moment before turning back to each other.
"Man, she's something else," Sebastian muttered, taking a big gulp of his drink. "Joanne, I mean."
Fernando smirked, leaning in with a mischievous grin. "Remember in Hungary? They said Toto's hotel room mirror was broken, no one knew why but they speculated it was because of some wild sex. Bet it was with her. I tried to ask Paul but he did not say anything but I could read it off his face."
Daniel chuckled, shaking his head. "Yeah, I heard about that. He was so distracted during the briefing, kept looking at his phone. Now it makes sense."
"What's she see in Toto, anyway?" Kimi wondered aloud. "He's not exactly a spring chicken."
Sebastian raised an eyebrow laughing at the comment of his friend. "Maybe it's the power. I mean, he runs one of the top teams in F1. That's gotta be attractive."
"Or maybe it's something else," Fernando added. "You think they actually talked about anything, or was it just...you know, sex?"
Daniel shrugged. "With her, it's hard to tell. She's got that wild side, but she also seems like someone who wouldn't waste time on meaningless hookups."
"Yeah, but Toto?" Sebastian shook his head. "He's all business. What could they possibly have in common? Thats so unlike him. To me sounds like past divorce midlife crisis."
Fernando laughed. "Maybe they didn't need to talk. Sometimes chemistry just happens, and all that talking goes out the window."
"Still," Kimi said, smirking, "it's interesting to think about. What do they talk about when they're not...you know, fucking?"
"Probably racing," Daniel suggested with a grin. "Or maybe she gives him shit about his team's performance."
Sebastian laughed. "Can you imagine? 'Toto, you need to get your shit together on the track.'"
They all chuckled, the image of Joanne giving Toto a hard time about racing making them laugh.
"Whatever it is," Fernando said, leaning back, "they've got something going on. And it's not just sex. You can see it in the way they look at each other."
Daniel nodded. "Yeah, there's definitely something deeper. But man, I'd love to be a fly on the wall during one of their conversations."
"Or in the bedroom," Kimi added with a smirk, causing another round of laughter.
Sebastian shrugged, his smile widening. "Guess we'll never know. Unless one of us grows a pair and asks her or Toto."
They continued to speculate, the mystery of Joanne and Toto's relationship leaving them both intrigued and entertained.
