Lady Whistledown's Society Papers
Dearest Readers,

It is with great delight that I recount the events of the recent Bridgerton Ball held at Aubrey Hall. The evening was nothing short of spectacular, with dazzling displays of finery, elegant dances, and a significant announcement that has left all of London's society abuzz.

The Bridgerton Ball commenced with the grandeur and elegance that we have come to expect from the esteemed Bridgerton family. Aubrey Hall was transformed into a veritable palace, adorned with the finest decorations and illuminated by countless candles that cast a warm, inviting glow upon the guests. The Bridgerton siblings were in high spirits, mingling with guests and ensuring that everyone felt welcome.

Among the many highlights of the evening, it was the waltz shared between Viscount Anthony Bridgerton and Lady Katherine Windsor that captured the most attention. The couple moved with such grace and intimacy that it was impossible to ignore the profound connection between them. Onlookers, including this humble writer, were captivated by the silent exchange of emotions that passed between them, a testament to the depth of their feelings.

Over breakfast, a most astonishing news was broken to the remaining guests: Viscount Anthony Bridgerton and Lady Katherine Windsor were engaged to be married. The announcement was met with a chorus of congratulations and well-wishes from the Bridgertons and Arlingtons, though it must be noted that Lord Edward and Lord Henry were less than enthusiastic.

And so, dear readers, it is with great pleasure that I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Viscount Anthony Bridgerton and Lady Katherine Windsor on their engagement. May their future be filled with love, joy, and happiness. Though their journey has been fraught with challenges, it is clear that their love has endured and will continue to flourish.

Yours truly,
Lady Whistledown

Windsor Manor, London

Katherine sat in the drawing-room of Windsor Manor, the afternoon sun casting a warm glow through the large windows. She had gathered her children, Lady Margaret Windsor, Lady Charlotte Windsor, Lord William Windsor, and Lady Eleanor Windsor, around her. Today was an important day, and she felt a mixture of excitement and nervousness as she prepared to share the news that would change their lives.

"Margaret, Charlotte, William, Eleanor, come sit with me," she said gently, patting the space on the settee beside her. The children eagerly climbed up, snuggling close to their mother.

"Yes, Mama?" William asked, his eyes wide with curiosity.

Katherine took a deep breath, her heart swelling with love and anticipation. "I have something very important to tell you all," she began. "Do you remember Viscount Anthony Bridgerton?"

Charlotte nodded enthusiastically. "Yes, Mama! He's very nice. He gave me a sweet last time we visited."

Margaret, a bit older and more perceptive, looked at her mother with a thoughtful expression. "Is he the one you've been spending a lot of time with, Mama?"

Katherine smiled, her heart warming at her daughter's insight. "Yes, Margaret. Anthony and I have decided that we would like to be together. We are going to get married, and he will become your father."

Charlotte's eyes widened with excitement. "Really, Mama? We're going to have a father?"

William's face lit up with a smile, though it was tempered with a hint of uncertainty. "Will he be kind to us, Mama? Like you are?"

Katherine wrapped her arms around all four children, pulling them close. "Anthony is a very kind and loving man. He cares for you all very much, and he wants to be a good father to you. I am certain that you will grow to love him as much as I do."
