I wake up wrapped in Katie's arms, her beautiful arms. I hummed in approval of how comfortable I was, laying in silence got me thinking. I really wanted Katie to be mine, she always reassures me and says I am hers but not officially, I know just because we don't have a 'label' that doesn't mean anything but I always have the worry that she will find someone else, and it won't matter because we are together, yet.
About 3 minutes later I got the brilliant idea to wake Katie up, brilliant to me however not so much to her. "for what reason are you waking me up for?" she groaned, sounding very aggy which was understandable. "sorry i got bored" I pouted, of course it was fake, I didn't even feel the slightest bit bad. She smiles at me and pulls me onto her chest, laying flat down on her as she raps her hands around my back. "it's okay, princess" 'princess' once again I hum of approval making Katie giggle. "you like that huh?" she giggles, earning another hum of approval, genuinely I was just really tired. "so ell?" katie lifts my body from on top of her, making my body shiver as the warmth from her body leaves. "so katie?" I mock her making her roll her eyes at my antics. "maybe tonight I can take you on the date? you know and actually show up this time" she laughs, I must add this is not a laughing matter, especially the fact that I was in literal tears made it 10x worse. "only if you pinky promise you will actually come" I say trying to keep my best stern face as possible, Katie holds out her little finger as both of ours interlock together before we lock it in (a very important part), she leans into my ear whilst our pinkies still remain intertwined, and whispers; "i promise" before planting a kiss on the cheek, a subtle one but meaningful. My smile grows more, she can probably feel my smile lines ingraved to her lips.
*a few hours later*
The time was now 1:32, Katie left around an hour ago and then only information she passed was 'i will message you and tell you the details' which even that is not helpful. I had already showered and dried my hair, I now awaited on my bed, still wrapped in my towel as I didn't have a clue what to wear.
I think it had been around 20 minutes I waited for a message before I finally got one.

I now thankfully had an idea of what to wear, still not entirely sure what 'casual but cute' means but at least it's something to work off. My outfit was a beige vested sweater, paired with some plain, black, knitted trousers, topped with a black crossed bag.
