I was doing my normal activities, you know trying to find recruits for the league, when I get a message on my phone.
"Come to the base, urgent."
What's so urgent that Dabi had to message me? He never uses his phone.
I sighed, turning into a shadow, and returning home within fifteen minutes.

I entered the base, I saw blood on the floor, and a man with a mask that looked like a bird beak standing in our base.
"Well this is freaky," I said, giving the man a deadly stare.
"Don't go near him!" Twice yelled, "He killed Big Sis!"
"And he took my arm off," Compress added.
I rolled my eyes.
That man can't even catch me if he tried. These people underestimate me. I'm tired of it. It feels like home.

After some arguments, the man soon walked off. I wasn't paying much attention to what he was saying, instead I was paying attention to his quirk.
Odd quirk. How does it even work? It makes no sense.

Twice was yelling on and on about how Overhaul killed Big Sis.
"Twice seems to be taking her death the hardest," Dabi whispered to me.
I nodded my head.
"I mean, he's sensitive, Hon. Twice feels like he killed her because he was the one who brought Overhaul here."
Dabi held my waist.
"Did you hear the news?"
I raised an eyebrow.
"2K is back..."
My heart stopped for a moment...
Kimiko...
"She just got back from America. The news is making quite the stir on her arrival home. She made a public announcement on her social media that she isn't going to make any public appearances until she has her agency taken care of."
"So no one is aware of where she's at?"
"Not at the moment."
I felt my stomach flutter.
Kimiko, I miss you.
"Peyusha, you'll be joining Twice and Toga to work with Overhaul," Shigaraki said, right after he spoke with the two.
"What?" I exclaimed, "I don't want to go there!"
"That sucks," Dabi chuckled.
I rolled my eyes.
"I'll go under one condition."
"And what's that?"
"I want to find Pro Hero 2K."
They all stared at me.
"If we find a stupid hero, you'll go?"
"She's not just any hero, she knows the hero commission personally. She and I used to be good friends before the accident. She'll probably spill something to me."
Dabi smirked.
"You sneaky bitch."
I stuck my tongue out.
Shigaraki looked over to Pandora, who nodded her head.
"Alright. I got word that she is visiting UA in two weeks."
"Alright. I'll join."

I remember my old bedroom. How my ceiling was white, how the walls were purple, how I had posters up around my walls of bands and the solar system. My room was space themed since I was five.
Growing up, I wasn't allowed to be free, or really be myself. My dad used to promise me trips across the world. We didn't get enough time for that. I only had one trip with him.

"Ushy, I promise you'll like it here!" I remember my dad exclaimed.
"I don't know, daddy, a space museum seems pretty boring."
"Trust me, Ushy, once you see the wonders of space, you'll see why I'm so in love with it!"
I remember it was a rainy day, and it was just him and me.
When we entered, it was like I was in a new world; a world where I was free, where I was away from everyone, where it was just him and me. The 3D planets, the beauty of the dark void was like something you couldn't believe. That was the first day I felt... Free...

After he died, I went there with three people. Yuudai, Touya, and Kimiko. They were the three closest people to me at the time. When Touya died, Kimiko was always there for me. Even when she was busy, Kimiko would help me with anything I needed. Every time I think about her, my heart aches. She was my closest friend, and she was so close to being the person I was with forever. Dabi got to me before she could. I love Dabi more than anything, but sometimes I wish that I was with Kimiko. Maybe then I could be free. Maybe then I would be able to go back to my old life.
I can't dwell on the past. I have Dabi and he's all I need. I love him. If Kimiko loved me, she wouldn't be with those stupid heroes.
