I winced, holding my hip to stop the blood.
God dammit.
I crawled on the ground, attempting to get away from the hero following me.
"Where's Shigaraki and the others?" The hero yelled.
"Like I'll tell you anything."
"You're willing to go to jail than to just cave in? Have you no shame?"
"The league is my family. You heroes haven't done a damn thing for me. My real family was just as shitty. The league has done more for me than you ever will. I'd rather get the death sentence than to ever rat them out."
I knew I shouldn't have gone out today. Pey, how could you be so stupid?
An explosion blinded me.
"You fifthly heroes are always picking on the weak. Look at you, Endeavor, holding down a woman as she struggles. You aren't even giving up despite her not having enough energy to even activate her quirk. Do you have any shame?" The now very aggravated female voice asked.
Pandora... Thank you for helping me.
Pandora picked up a piece of trash, activating her quirk, throwing it at Endeavor. Pandora ran over to me, pulling me away from the piece of trash ready to explode at any moment.
The world went completely still. Then the now bomb exploded. Endeavor was sent flying backward onto the street. Pandora quickly helped me up.
"Pey, hurry! We have to get out of here."
I stumbled as we tried to run.
"I was careful. He just attacked out of nowhere."
"What were you doing when he attacked?"
"I was eating a lollipop."
"Did you steal it?"
"No. Like I said, I was careful. All of a sudden I heard him. I tried to run, but he attacked. I wasn't doing anything, I swear."
"Pey, us living is wrong in their eyes. All that matters is that you're okay."

I winced as Odessa heals my wounds.
"Ow! Can you, like, be careful?"
"I can't control my quirk. You have a big wound from that fire hit from Endeavor, so that means it's going to hurt more to heal."
The door flung open.
"Pey!" Dabi yelled, racing over to me, "What happened?"
"Endeavor happened. I was literally doing nothing."
"Oh I'm going to fucking kill him."
"Hey, we'll do that another day. During the meantime, focus on your plans, not on me. I'll be fine, especially when Odessa is here."
Dabi tightly held my hand.
"I should have been there."
"No, no, no. We aren't doing that. I am fine going out alone, I don't need you constantly trying to protect me."
"You're the only person who keeps me sane, Pey."
"I know. Without you guys, I'd probably be in a psych ward."
Odessa chuckled at the comment, "Alright, Dabi, get out of here. Pey needs time to heal."

"Honor yourself, Ushy!" My mother screamed at me as we trained, "You aren't allowed to slack off. You're never allowed to slack off!"
I tried to get up, but my body was too weak.
"God, Ushy, why can't you do anything right?"
"Don't call me that."
"What?"
"I'm not Ushy, I'm Pey. I'm not Ushy... I'm... I'm Pey."
My eyes swelled the size of kickballs, and a tear rolled down my cheek. My mother grabbed my face.
"Don't cry! Don't you ever cry! You need to be strong enough. In order to do that, you have to push everything down! Keep your sanity until you need to snap."
I wiped away my tears as she walked away.
I walked into my room. I was beaten, bruised, and lonely.
Touya, come back please.
I softly gripped onto my hair, attempting to stop the loud voices in my head.
"You're no longer Ushy. You don't deserve that name. Ushy was sweet, kind, and weak. Pey is strong, heartless, and free!" The voices screamed, "You need to be Pey in order to be good enough. Ushy needs to burn just like your dad did!"
No, no. Stop it. She needs to stay. Ushy is fine. She's good enough. I know she's good enough.
I softly hit my head, tears rushing down my face like a silent waterfall. I looked up at the mirror.
Why am I so different?

I looked at myself in the mirror. All my scars showed Pey. My heart showed Ushy.
I don't feel real.
A shadow formed behind me of my dad. I looked behind me.
No one...
I sighed.
Keep your ground. You're fine. Everything is fine.
