Sabaism

My body shivered. It was a cold night, and my inability to wear layers made it hard for me to stay warm. A cigarette rested between my lips as I stared up at the stars.
"I didn't expect to see you out here," A soft feminine voice said.
I looked to the side of my shoulder.
"Hey, Pandora."
She stood next to me, placing something down.
"Hey."
I could tell something was wrong, or Shigaraki was just around the corner. Pandora was never seen too far away from him.
"Where's Shigaraki?"
"Back at base."
I raised an eyebrow.
"What are you doing here then?" I asked, taking a drag of my cigarette.
"I needed a break from him. Despite my undying devotion to him, I still feel overwhelmed at times. I know it seems odd to believe I have emotions."
Pandora tucked her pine green hair behind her ear, looking over at me and the cigarette. I offered it to her, and she took it.
"Look at you going full rebellion."
She giggled, taking a drag from the half smoked cigarette.

Something was wrong with Pandora. Then again, a lot of things were wrong with Pandora. I mean, growing up with people who never cared, and then being taken into the League at age fourteen probably isn't easy. Right now though, she seemed more on edge. She seemed like a bomb ready to explode at one wrong movement.

Pandora and I looked up at the stars.
"I wish I was a star sometimes," I softly stated.
"Why?"
"Just look at them, Pan, they're so small, but so important at the same time. They're beautiful, free, and everyone sees them for what they are. They are like my heart and soul. They are everything I think about, everything I dream about. It seems stupid, but it's a wish of mine."
"It seems to me that you have sabaism."
"Saba- what now?"
Pandora giggled at my stupidity.
"Sabaism. It's a very rare, yet simple word that means 'the worship of stars.' You have sabaism."
I chuckled.
"I guess I do."
Another shiver was sent down my body. Pandora looked at me.
"Before I forget," She picked up the thing she placed on the ground, "Dabi wanted me to give you this."
I opened poorly folded clothing, and my heart warmed at the sight.
"His coat?"
"One of them. He knew you'd get cold and lonely, so he wanted me to give you something that will remind you of him while you're gone. I think he secretly misses you. You should come visit the base soon. Who knows how much longer it'll be before our plan comes to fruition."
I place the not so heavy, but warm coat on my body.
It smells as dirty as him. It's okay, though. I wouldn't expect it to be clean.
"I should get going, though. Shigaraki is probably waiting for my return. He'll also probably smell the smoke from me."
"Oh no, smoke, we're all going to die."
Pandora chuckled and gave me a hug.
"Bye, Pey."
"Bye, Pan."

I looked up at the stars again.
Worship of stars? I wouldn't say I worship them, I just want to be them.
