22 BBY, Month 7
A loud thump echoed through the empty gardens of the jedi temple. Lexi was lucky to be alone in the spacious garden where many come to view trees and enjoy the fresh air and peace. Looking at the blue sky and white cloud overhead, Lexi got wind of Genevieve getting in trouble with the council over the matter between the two a few nights ago. Lexi also learned that Anakin arrived after his guard duty ended with the senator from Naboo.
Lexi knew him from the training. He was close to her age however started late in his Jedi training. She always felt inferior to the man, the way everything seemed easy for him. Besides meditation, something the two can agree on.
Thinking back to Gen's words over how it wasn't fair he got promoted to Jedi knight and they were stuck as padawans. It rubbed her the wrong way, but couldn't put a word to it.
Nibbling on her lower lip, a heavy sigh left her lips in deep thought over the topic. She wondered what the Jedi council thought about him quickly rising the ranks. Something she had no say in the matter.
Glancing downward to the book she shut closed, she ran her fingers over the words on the hardcover. It was an old textbook about the old Jedi, something that she would fascinating.
"This sucks," Lexi whispers to herself, a slight echo was heard but drowned by the many sounds on the planet. Sylvain hasn't reached out lately, it caused her worry for the mellow male.
Their last transmission was when he was heading to the Pantora System to set up an outpost. She heard briefly about Master Di being summoned to the Jedi Council and then left for Ryloth. She knew it was the home world for another master so she felt she was worried for her people probably.
"You are hard to find," a voice brought her attention to doors closing. A smile came over her features, her eyes lit up as she put down the unwanted thoughts behind her.
"Look who is here. The one and only Walker," Lexi teases the tall male who smirks proudly at the female.
His dark brown hair reflects the sunlight that burned the open garden. Faint blonde locks could be seen in his hair and his blue eyes shined happily.
"Lex stop calling me that. You will have people call me that." Anakin warns earning a smirk from Lexi at the words. "That's all I want for you, it's a nice nickname for you since you do enjoy flying the ships. Practically a pro," Lexi tells him honestly as Anakin sits beside her.
Anakin nudged her shoulder causing her body to lean to the right before back to normal. Slightly hunched while sitting on the stone bench, Anakin looked at the large tree in the distance enjoying the peace.
"So how was Naboo? Anything exciting or was it bland?" Lexi questions out of curiosity since she has never been to Naboo before, she heard the many stories of the luxuriant planet.
