the twenty-six year old lady never particularly enjoyed blood on her hands, she wasn't much of a fan in killing kaijus herself though she preferred to aid the japan anti-kaiju defense force members in killing the kaijus.
miyuki once saw her mother's body disappear along with kaiju no. 6 on the blinking screen as she couldn't do anything but just watch helplessly as her eyes were casted on the vital signs of hikaru shinomiya go zero.
that was years ago, yet it still was as fresh as a recent blood wound to the woman.
despite not being directly a part of the defense force as a combat officer, she is currently the vice-leader of division one's operations.

a/n: this book contains manga spoilers from kaiju no. 8.
there's little kaiju no. 8 fanfics.. i decided to take matters into my own hands and contribute to making one..!! TT (no pressure, i just hope there's more kn8..)
the story is kind of light-hearted(?), it's not severely surrounded with 'dark' energy, i'm not a serious person myself, so obviously, i wouldn't be well-versed in placing a 'serious' aura on the story.
every chapter will be at least a minimum of 3k words! this is my first work in a few years so.. sorry.
also, the trope is basically friends to lovers and kind of slow burn, romance is just a subplot and miyuki is her own person with or without the love interests and i want to tell you that in advance because you're mostly going to be reading in her pov─in first person.
