sorry if they r ooc, im well aware rin and tachibana had screentime less than 6 chapters but wtv.. i just giggled while writing narumi and that's it.. IM SORRY..

I PICKED UP THE incoming call from the caller id 'dad' and placed my phone to my ears. "yes.. hello dad. i've returned back to ariake maritime base."
"good. after you settle in, come to my office right away for the report." he demands. "yes, yes. i'm very much aware. i will go there, so don't worry dad. love you, bye." i say before the call ends.
despite him calling me first, he still acts distant and out of reach. though i knew he was just being tough like this for my own good, and i know inside, dad geniunely means well.
"miyuki-san, we've.. arrived inside." the driver tells me as i then took notice of the car being parked in a parking lot.
"ah right, thank you." i say as i unlocked the car door with my phone in hand, and my bag with my other free hand.
the driver soon follows me and helps me get my luggage outside the car.
"do you need me to help..?" he asks, referring to my bag and luggage to which i shook my head and rejected his help.
"no, it's fine. you don't need to assist me anymore." i smiled at him as he nodded and soon i watched the car drive away to the exit.
i sighed as i dragged my luggage towards the familiar building.
'home sweet home, i guess.'

i stopped walking in my tracks to turn around to look at the voice i heard - only to see a short black haired woman behind me.
"rin-chi." i smiled at her.
"welcome back, miyuki." the woman smiles back.
