a month had passed by since miyuki had been transferred to the third division, and two months in total since the end of the defense force examinations and the officer appointment ceremony.
over the past month, the oldest shinomiya had gotten closer to her friends in the third unit and got acquainted with the new officers there as well.
miyuki still hasn't been ordered to be deployed on field for combat yet, and well, she wasn't sure anymore if she could handle kaiju number three's taunts inside her head when she uses it. (despite the data checked of her saying she's still very much compatible with the numbered daikaiju.)
however, she has participated in helping the officers in the third division with their training. specifically, close quarters combat and bladed weaponry.
vice captain hoshina is known to be the strongest close quarters combat fighter within the defense force, with captain narumi in second. and while not being in the top three in terms of close quarters combat - miyuki is one of the people within the defense force that excels in cqc despite not being a full-time combatant.
even though miyuki wasn't ordered in any way whatsoever to help the officers, she still insisted that she wanted to.
relying on firearms aren't necessarily good for your body which is why miyuki made it her duty to train the officers within the third division with other training aside from shooting training.
nowadays, some officers get drained by the sight of the vice captain and miyuki showing up together during their training especially the newer officers who haven't been acquainted with the blonde much and met her briefly at times because when the two were together - their training either gets longer or harder. (or worse.. both.)
they'd rather have their bodies safely intact, thank you.
they really had not held any expectations of miyuki to be the type to be strict with training, and was caught off-guard with her rigorous and stern training first hand.
