IWATCHED ON THE SCREEN from the droneas bullet after bullet, kikoru shot the yojus down easily as she breezed past them on her way.
i look on over to the examinees - who seemed a bit bewildered at the speed kikoru was killing the kaijus. i mean, i guess i wasn't that surprised at this. her hobby is killing kaijus, and she killed kaijus before in the states when she was still there.
not to mention, given our past.. kikoru worked so hard to get this far.
still... it was a bit amusing to see the examinees' reactions as they realized kikoru herself was not allowing them to even assist her, since she was already murdering the kaijus down so easily.
the last yoju gets shot multiple times by kikoru and it's not long before i hear okonogi announcing, "number 2016 has eliminated the last yoju in delta area, she is now engaging with the honju!"
i watch as kikoru throws a grenade before jumping around the buildings near her and the honju as it screams out in pain from it.
the loud cry is stopped as kikoru is seen appearing from the smoke and jumps in between the honju's jaws.
her gun in her hands - aimed right inside the honju's mouth. loud booms are heard from her gun as the honju quiets from her gunshots. i hear hoshina snicker behind me.
i checked on the vitals of the honju, and smiled as i saw its vitals being dead.
"she's done it." i say.
kikoru jumps off from the honju's jaws and lands in front of it, distance still there, and she casually stands as she turns around to see the honju's body fall on the ground. completely dead.
"the honju.. is dead." okonogi says.
"the final evaluation.. is over!" she announces to everyone. "we will recover the drones, good work everyone." she says before muting herself once more.
"recovering the drones and rescuing the injured.. right?" okonogi asks.
"mm.. yeah.. but no one has been seriously injured, just minimal injuries here and there." i reported to okonogi.
hearing no response from either the two captains, i called out hoshina. "ahem. vice captain hoshina-chi?"
"eh? right."
"this evaluation ended really fast." i comment.
"miyuki-san, your sister.." ashiro speaks up, and i turn my head to look at her. "kikoru shinomiya.. she's more formidable than the rumors."
"hm~ she is." i chuckled, before going back to helping okonogi retrieve the many drones that were dispatched to give visuals of the examination site back to the base while i kept kikoru's vitals tab on the side of the screen.
