"Unpredictable Choice"

To my expectation, I was suprised hearing him say those words.

Woah I would have never thought that he would ask that since in the novel, at his particular age right now he didn't even cared much whether he will die or continue living so this is really a huge improvement.

The doctor implied, "Yes there is a way for you to improve your condition faster, but the problem is the cure can only be found in the Gail empire and thats a 3 month ship ride, so purchasing that right now could take a lot of time for it to arrive."

He was adamant by his request, "I dont care, all I want is to enhance my health and be better. I dont want to stay like this forever."

"I'll talk to his majesty the emperor about it and lets just see what hell do."

"Thank you doctor."

"It is merely my job your highness, do not fret."

All of them left but as for me I stayed for a bit since I got curios as to why he'd ask that certain question.

"Its very suprising how you would plead for something like that, why did you brought up that topic all of a sudden?"

"As much as I hate my father and the palace I want to take my classes as the next heir and gain his favor so I can do whatever I want and travel around with you outside, because I know now that my father would never change his mind if I keep denying my fate like this so ill endure it for the sake of my freedom."

Who would have guessed that he would say something like that, I cant believe the kid who used to throw tantrums around when we first met change so much to this.

"Then ill be waiting your highness."

He replied in a low quiet tone, "Zole."

Huh did I hear that right? I stared with a confused reaction to him.

"You can call me Zole from now on."

"Then it'll be a great honour master Zole."

He sighed, "Drop the master thing or the title calling part, you are my friend so just call me by my name."

My eyes widened with shock, "Is it really allowed? I may be noble but im still considered as the lowest of ranks."

"You are the only person who can call me that since your friendship to me is very special."

I stayed silent for a bit not knowing what to say.

"Ahh speak will you?! Its very embarrassing to say all of that when you stay soundless like this."

I am getting too personally involve with him now, I have always thought that our relationship would only stay as a master and servant kind of stuff but to think it went to this extent. Im only the one to be blamed for this so lets just play along.

"Thank you for saying that, Zole."

Excitement sparked within him and a faint blush appeared on his face as he looked away, "I need to go to sleep already, so you can take your leave now ."

Walking out of his room I kept thinking to myself.

Wow his highness really change so much out of nowhere huh, I wonder how this relationship would progress cause at the end he's still a crown prince while im just the child of a baron.

Suddenly a maid called me out saying, "Master Lewis?"

I looked back, "Yes, what is it?"

"Her majesty the empress wants your presence in her chambers."

The empress wants to see me?! Hmm... shes finally making her move.

"Is that so, thank you for telling me."

She bowed, "Then please follow me young master."

Entering her chambers I saw the most angelic, beautiful and refined woman that Ive seen in my whole life.

Seriously without prior knowledge of the novel I wouldnt have known how hideous her personality could be since she looks this stunning.

I bowed, "Greetings and glory to the moon of the empire. Your majesty, I heard that you called for me?"

Sipping her tea, she placed it down and glanced at me, "Why yes I did, so please have a seat."

"Ahh thank you."
