Upon entering the kitchen , I grabbed a glass and quenched my thirst by drinking water.

Ughhh, why is it soooo hot today?

When I noticed that Max was preparing some things, I got curios and asked, "Max what are you doing?"

"Ahh im about to go shopping."

"Wait, isnt that Reah's job?"

"Yeah, but she requested a leave since she was feeling sick, so im on standby for today, but do you want to come with me?"

Hmm... going shopping huh?, well eversince I got transmigrated here I never really got the chance to travel much and see the whole setting because after I became Lewis, all I ever thought about was survival.

So mybe its a good chance for me to walk around and explore the wide world of the novel, besides its not an everyday experience to be braught here into this new life.

"Sure, I can come if you dont mind."

"Really?, this is the first time you're doing something other than taking care of your master."

"Very funny, but ill go change for a bit, please wait for me."

After changing my clothes I immediately ran towards Max, "Sorry to keep you waiting."

"Its fine I was writing the list of the things that needed to be bought."

Strolling beside him I started smiling because I was finally able to walk outside the palace walls.

Zole on the other hand spotted the both of them in the view of his window and he glared at what he saw, cause he didn't seem to enjoy watching Lewis smiling and having fun with another person, so he closed the curtains and went back.

Riding in the carriage, Max noticed that I was eagerly gazing at the scenery outside, "Is this your first time traveling the empire?, you seem very excited."

"Yes, its actually my first time."

He reacted in disbelief, "Wait really?! I thought I was just joking, and I didn't think it would be true."

"Truth be told, I was a very weak and a sickly child growing up, due to that my parents were very protective of me but know since im feeling a little bit better I can do as much as I want without them getting mad, afterall I wont be teenager forever right? so I gotta enjoy the now."

He focused his eyes towards him and decided,"Well how about after I finished this job, why dont we look around and have fun."

"Really!, I'd be happy to." I was very excited about what he said, later on we finally arrived to the heart of the capital.

A lot of people were walking around and the road was crowded, as I was moving forward, immediately Max pulled my forearm, "Hey dont walk around by yourself, its dangerous if both of us separate."

"Oh, sorry, I got a little to excited."

"Ill keep holding you ok, so you wont get lost since this is your first time visiting this place."

I smiled, "You're honestly like a protective older brother to me."

"Is that so? , Im glad you see me in that way." He grinned as he was walking ahead.
