Toucan walked through an endless hallway.

Doors appeared on either side of her, yet she didn't stop to open them. She felt herself shrink until she was the size of one of the dragonets at the kindergarten. She wondered where Flynn had hidden them.

The hallway ended, as did the floor. She fell into a pit and looked up to see a blurry faced rainwing looking down at her.

A moment later she was in a forest. She was talking to an amber mudwing. But it wasn't her voice. It was a male's, familiar yet unfamiliar.

"Let's just hope I can say hi to her before she tries to kill me."

The sentence played over in her head, including flashing images of Firefly, Jumbo Josh and Stinger Flynn. Then she saw it- an image of herself, except much younger and without her gear. She saw herself standing with the same blurry faced rainwing from before, and other blurry dragons.

Then she was back to her normal size, standing in front of the blurry rainwing. But this time he wasn't blurry. It felt like someone else was controlling her body. She leapt forwards and attacked the rainwing, but he leaped to the side and called in the same voice she had heard herself speaking:

"Toucan, stop! Don't you remember me? It's me, Blueberry!"

Blueberry's image faded and was replaced with Sir Dadadoo. He reached towards her and lifted her into the air by her neck. "You betrayed me."

He vanished and Banban appeared in front of her. She felt the same pain she had felt earlier from her scars, and she fell backwards into Banban's wings.

"Don't die..." He spoke. "Remember what Syringeon said? Don't get too close to humans. Don't get hurt. Don't you dare die. I need you..."

A long beeping sound filled her ears. She heard Banban saying those words, though it was distant, as though through a wall. She felt a talon wrap around her, and wings hug her, and-

Toucan raised her head and breathed in a long gasp of air. She coughed as she felt her lungs begin to work again and her heart begin beating.

She still felt wings wrapped around her. She heard a cry of relief and looked up. There was Banban, his face stained with tears.

"Your alive..." He said, pulling her upwards towards himself. "I thought you were dead... I thought I'd lost you. But it was just thermal rest. You're fine..."

Toucan realized that the beeping must have been a heart monitor; one sat beside her. She looked around. She was in one of the holding cells on the fourth floor. This one was more of a hospital room, though- three other beds her in a neat row along the room.

She wrestled out of Banban's grip. "Of course I'm alive." She said. Her voice was weak and croaky- she must have been asleep for a while. "I told you- I'll live forever. I'll be made out of plastic!"

Banban laughed. "You'll be made out of flesh and bones. And givanium. Your own boyfriend won't be able to tell the difference."

Toucan smirked. "I don't have a boyfriend."
