It was the big day Harry and his mystery entourage would be showing up that morning, early too. So, she woke up extra early and dressed nicely. She had been doing that lately, dressing nicer when she knew she would see Theo, though that was every day and she was running out of options.

If Hermione really was coming with Harry she would have to get some help with shopping for more of the kinds of things she noticed Theo liked seeing her in. When she was ready she made her way to Theo's office and seeing the door closed she knocked, loudly.

"One second!" she heard Theo's muffled voice call from behind the door. There were more muffled thuds and an oof! before the door opened only a fraction, showing Theos frantic eye in the crack. "Oh it's you, um I'm not ready yet still getting dressed. I could use your help with that actually." He mused, Ginny thought that was a bit forward, even for Theo. He seemed to realize how what he said sounded to her because his eyes widened and he ended up just grabbing her around the wrist and yanking her quickly through the gap.

Her heart started thudding in her chest, wondering if flirting with him had been a dangerous move. Harry, would be to late. Then she felt paws on her thighs, not the perverted kind, but actual paws.

She opened her eyes, looked down and saw the large puppy. It looked like a baby Padfoot and Ginny's chest tightened. She looked up to see Theo had taken advantage of the dog being busy with her to get his trousers and shirt on, now just placing the cuff links and belt in place.

"You got a dog? When, did you get a dog?" Ginny asked confused.

"It's a rescue, the mother had a litter but through complications didn't survive more than a month. They would have been put down if I had not taken them." Theo told her absently while he tied his shoes.

"Them? There's more?"

"Yes. I got a litter of seven, it's a lucky number for dogs. The others are in the kennels out back, they were delivered late last night." He explained.

"Then why is this one in your office?"

"She is going to be a guide dog. She is for you really. I figured I could teach her the lay of the chateau and then she can be yours to help you not get lost." Theo said it casually as if it were just a small token to make her life easier not a massive gesture because Ginny had always wanted a pet but the best she could do was the small pygmy puff she had in her 5th year.

"Really, she's for me?" Ginny knelt to pet the puppy in earnest, the big black pup was excited to be getting the attention she craved.

"She will grow much bigger, she is an Irish wolfhound, but yes, I thought you might want to name her. One of the elves are going to house train her before you can have her in your room but that should only take a few days." He was properly dressed and looking at her now. He had a look of bemused amazement at her reaction.

Theo had not thought that the dog would be a big deal, just a practical way to both give her a companion and a way of finding her way around, hopefully when she ventured further than the chateau the dog could make sure she got back too.

However the reaction he was getting from her indicated it was a welcome gesture of great significance and he was wishing he had done it sooner. He wanted to tell her anything she wanted he would get it for her. He would find a way to give her everything and anything in the world.

It seemed a bit much to say at this point in time, so he settled for a charming smile and hope she knew he was often thinking about her.

He had not been able to get the image of her wet and pressed against him when they fell. Or the way they had almost kissed.
