Lilith had no words. She had always dreamed of being claimed by her godly parent, but not like this.

The only reason her father claimed her was because she wished Luke dead. Ironic, considering he is the God of the Dead.

"I'm sorry, Lilith, I - I had no idea," Annabeth said, referring to what she had said.

"That's cause I wanted it that way," Lilith said quietly.

Chiron gave her a sympathetic look, then turned back to Percy. There were other important matters to attend to.

"Kronos rising must be reported to Olympus," Chiron said. "I will go at once."

"Luke is out there right now," Percy said, giving Lilith a hesitant look and then turning back to Chiron. "I must go after him."

Chiron shook his head. "No, Percy. The gods -"

"Wont even talk about Kronos," Percy snapped. "Zeus declared the matter closed!"

"Percy, I know this is hard. But you must not rush out for vengeance. You aren't ready. The same goes for you, Lilith," Chiron turned to her. "Luke cannot know about your father, if he found out he would use you for your power."

Lilith didn't say anything. She knew he was right. Being a child of the Big Three means you hold great power. But Lilith also had the power of a witch, which meant she was almost as powerful as the gods themselves.

"Chiron..." Percy said. "Your prophecy from the Oracle... it was about Kronos, wasn't it? Was I in it? And Annabeth? Lilith?"

Chiron glanced nervously at the ceiling. Lilith hadn't even noticed it started thundering after she got claimed. "Percy, it isn't my place -"

"You've been ordered not to talk about it, haven't you?"

Chiron's eyes were sympathetic but sad. "You will be a great hero, child. I will do my best to prepare you. But if I'm right about the path ahead of you..."

Thunder boomed overhead, rattling the windows.

"All right!" Chiron shouted. "Fine!"

He sighed in frustration. "The gods have their reasons, Percy. Knowing too much of your future is never a good thing."

"We can't just sit back and do nothing," Percy said.
