Got so damn close to packing it up
But that's just when you happened   |   Packing it up, Gracie Abrams

"Welcome back, Lilith." The voice of Kronos said as Lilith realised she was back in the same dark room as a few months ago.

"Wow, you seriously need to find a better hobby than plaguing others' dreams." Lilith said, realising the ground beneath her was moving.

"Where are we?" She asked.

"You'll find out soon, little witchling." Kronos said.

"Yeah, okay, thanks." She rolled her eyes. "Well, I hope you enjoy your little coffin cause I'm going to do everything in my power to keep you in it." Lilith said.

"Why you little –"

Lilith woke up in the middle of the night.

She stared in front of her for a few seconds when she noticed that someone's arm was around her waist and her back was pressed against their chest.

Not just someone's. Fred Weasley.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?!" Lilith whisper-yelled, quickly getting out of Fred's grasp and hitting him on his chest.

Fred barely opened his eyes.

"What did I do now?" He asked groggily.

"Don't act like you don't know." Lilith said.

She turned her back to him again and tried to get some more sleep in. It was still the weekend, after all, but Fred's arm found its way around her waist again.

Before she could yell at him again, Fred whispered in her ear, still half asleep.

"Just let me do this as some sort of peace offering." Fred said.

Lilith turned around, trying to get out of his grasp, but his grip was too strong.

I guess being a beater on the Quidditch team has its purposes.

"And why should I accept this so-called peace offering?" Lilith whispered.

She could almost count the number of freckles he had on his face. Not that she cared.

"Because I'm tired, and I want to sleep without you hitting me." Fred grumbled.

"I won't hit you if you let me go." Lilith said.

"Well, too bad for you cause my stuffed animal is still in the dormitory where your uncle prevented us from sleeping in." Fred said, pulling Lilith closer to his chest.

"Stuffed animal?" Lilith had to hide the growing smirk from her face. She was so going to use that against him.

That's when she realised. He called Sirius Black her uncle. Not her father.

"You never believed Sirius Black was my father, did you?" Lilith said softly, starting to feel more tired.

"Never. I just liked having a reason to get on your nerves." Fred opened his eyes slightly and gave her a tired smirk.
