CHAPTER 26: COLLEGE

ONE MONTH WAS PASSED and our relationship stay what it is. We spend together inside the apartment. Pag-uuwi na siya galing trabaho ay doon siya dederetso. Ako naman pag nauuna sakanya umuwi galing sa charity or other event as part of Miss earth ay ipinaghahanda ko siya ng makakain dahil alam ko pagod siya. Also, I always make sure she'll take her med everyday dahil meron araw na nakakalimutan niya ito inumin dahil sa pagod.

My parents didn't bother where I am as long as I'm with Kleya and safe. Hindi naman araw araw nasa apartment kami. May mga araw na nasa kanya kanya kami bahay to spend our time with our family. Speaking of family. I still didn't visit their mansion. Hindi naman ako pinipilit ni Kleya na pumunta. Pero nahihiya na ako minsan dahil alam ko gusto niya ako makilala o makita ang mommy niya. Sa ngayon parang hindi ko pa kaya.

The day has come when I finally entered the university where I have been before. I'm here again after years. I feel deja vu whenever I passed by the places I went. The whole University voted for the SSC officers before the continuation of the classes. And Jena put me as President. Hindi ko inaasahan na mananalo naman ako. And I was more speechless kasi halos lahat ng nandito ay kilala na ako. Not because I've been here before or as a daughter of ex mayor but because I have a named of Miss Earth Philippines. During the meeting a lot of people take a picture with me. Halos mga studyante under this university. Ang saya lang na marami nakaka appreciate sakin. Like I'm inside the spotlight where ever I am.

I was walking on the hallway wearing the university uniform. A white blouse with a red neck tie partnered with a red tight skirt na hindi lagpas sa tuhod ko. Bawat hakbang na ginagawa ko ay siya naman tunog ng suot ko black shoes na may takong. My hair were in loose, freely falling on my shoulder. I keep smiling on the students who greet me on the hallway. I was all wearing a wide smile when I saw a bunch of students gathering on my way. Something is happening. Kumunot ang noo ko. They noticed me coming so they make way for me. There I saw a woman laying on the floor with books around her. I face went blank as I saw Victoria's face. Wala sa ayos ang uniporme nito and her cleavage were showing dahil naka unbutton ang dalawang botones ng blouse niya. Nakatayo siya sa harap ng babae with her two friends beside her. Looking at them, I know what just happened. Ang babaeng nasa harap niya ay nagmamadali lumuhod at pinulot ang nahulog na libro but because of her panicked reaction and trembling body she couldn't get her books properly. Wala man lang nag tangka tumulong dito, not even the woman in front of her.

I started walking again towards them. Kita ko ang pag-irap sakin ni Victoria pero hindi ko lang ito pinansin. I kneeled down to help the woman. She was shocked for my sudden appearance. Ibinigay ko sakanya ang libro saka siya tinulungan tumayo.

“Woah! the best girl came! Hi! Tia!” Victoria suddenly said and waved her hand to me. Sarcastically.

“Hello,” maikli ko sagot sakanya at hinarap ang babae,”I am sorry for what happened to you. You can go now.”

Mabilis siya tumango sakin at nagmamadali umalis. Natira kami dalawa ni Victoria sa hallway. All the students were watching what will happen next. Jena told me about her attitude here in university. Porke't pamilya niya ang nagmamay ari ng university na ito ay nagagawa niya na lahat ng gusto niya. I'm thankful that I got my memories back because if I didn't. Panigurado papatulan ko siya ngayon.
