Hanni stood in the driveway of the home she lived in ever since she was born. Sixteen years in her childhood home and suddenly... they were moving. Hanni was loving high school so far and now she had to leave all her friends behind. The thought of having to make new friends at a new school made her sick to her stomach. She's never had to go through this before and never thought she would have to.

Ever since she was a little girl, her choice was never an option. There were so many things she never wanted to do growing up. Playing softball was one of them, since her dad was a huge baseball fan. She loved sports, but there were a few that just weren't that fun to her. Next thing she knew, she was playing on a field with no clue of how to play the game. Same thing with the piano. She found it so boring, but there she was every Wednesday and Thursday during the fifth grade, sitting in front of a piano trying to learn. Hanni expressed to her mom that she found the guitar more interesting, but she didn't budge. Eventually, she taught herself how to play the guitar.

Moving to a new city was not her choice either... her mom's coworker told her about her lovely hometown and was instantly convinced. Out of nowhere, her mom happily announced her decision to get up and leave with no warning.

The one thing her mom never said anything about was her singing. Hanni loved singing and that was the one thing her mom never messed with.

"That's the last of it!" Hanni's dad shut the U-Haul that was parked in the driveway.

Hanni held the neck of her ukulele and sighed, heading towards the car. She was not ready to leave and start over.

She was not ready to leave and start over
