Chapter 18: Falling Into The Abyss

Part 3: The Enerbender vs Dark Abyss

It was a normal day in most of the world. Adults went to work, children went to school. Everyone was going about their day. Many received the news about Mongolia falling which nobody truly knew much about the situation. Some did not care, others thought it was China that caused it.

However, everything changed when all of the TVs around the world went dark. Nobody knew the cause of it. Every country, every city, all of the networks had their TVs turn off. It stayed like that for two minutes, then all of them, whether they are owned or in a department store only showed one broadcast

Dark Abyss in her black cloak in a chair was broadcasting throughout the entire world. Nobody knew who she was or where it was coming from. Then she began to speak

“Attention people of the world. I’m glad I’m able to get a hold of all the television networks today. This is a worldwide broadcast and your regularly scheduled programs will resume once I am finished” Dark Abyss says in a professional manner

Many people chatted amongst themselves. Some were afraid this was an alien invasion or a takeover of the world. Others thought this was propaganda from the local government

“My name is Dark Abyss. I am broadcasting from the country of Mongolia, which is now completely under my control. Any attempt from the neighboring countries to thwart me in the capital city of Ulaanbaatar will be met with nothing but dead men. I am as powerful as an army of a million men”

Many politicians from neighboring countries chatted amongst themselves and took the threat seriously and thought of their next move

“I am not here to threaten the world, I am here to save it. Days ago, the country of Japan fell to a poison bomb that was planted by an evil demon that also was responsible for the destruction of the Burning Americas. That’s right, it wasn’t some accident or whatever the world tells you. This was the work of a dangerous woman by the name of Rockterra”

Somewhere nearby Shanghai. Rockterra, Astrolite, and Warmonger watched the broadcast

“This is absurd. She really thought it was wise to expose Rockterra to the world” Astrolite comments

“Despite what she is doing in Mongolia. She is doing it all to kill us. Nothing has changed with her in regards to us. It’s just now she is Mila’s enemy too” Rockterra says to him

“Would Georgina do this…if I may ask” Warmonger asks Rockterra

“I don’t know. Georgina was just a regular human, that’s what made her so easy to kill”

“So there was never any real way of knowing”

“No. There wasn’t. I believe it was the experiences that made Mariana this way. The only way she is like Georgina…is her mentality. Do whatever it takes”

Dark Abyss began to speak again on the television, “As of right now. It is unknown where I stand in a fight against this evil. That is why I am taking the energy of so many people. I aim to rid this world of the evil Rockterra. If anyone chooses to give their energy to me, then come to Ulaanbaatar and I will happily absorb your energy. You are not dying pointlessly. Sacrifices are necessary to make for the greater good of the Earth. Your lives will be in my hands and your descendants will live prosperously”

Back on a remote island near Jakarta. Sydney watched the whole thing from the eyes of an Indonesian Man

“Did you hear all that?” Sydney telepathically asks Mila, who was still training

Mila knocked down a tree ten times her size with just her bare fist, then looked to the north. “I did” she says telepathically

Dark Abyss began to conclude her broadcast, “In conclusion, I am not your enemy. I am your ally, and if you think I’m bluffing about my power” she creates a ball of purple energy and then throws it up into the air like a baseball. It was launched to the city of Kharkhorin and touched down like a nuclear bomb which destroyed all of the city structure and the dead corpses. There was nothing left of the city afterwards and the whole world just saw it
