Part 4: Gods of the Middle East
Mila looked down at Falconeyes, who was extremely nervous about the operation.
Sydney looked at them with Mila on her left and Falconeyes on her right as the two faced each other
“CAN YOU QUIT BEING SO NERVOUS!?” Falconeyes shouts anxiously
“I’ve never done this before” Mila says
“I can give you a tutorial. Or at least what the hypothesis said” Sydney says
“HUH!?” Mila and Falconeyes shout in unison
“Don’t worry so much. It’ll be fine”
Mila gulped as she was nervous about if she could do harm to Falconeyes with this technique
“First, place your hands on his shoulders” Sydney instructs. Mila does exactly that, the two others tried to keep their composure
“Okay. And?” Mila asks
“Now, lightly shake your arms,” Sydney says. Mila starts lightly sharking her arms. This makes Falconeyes a little nervous
Mila closed her eyes trying not to shake her arms any harder, “Okay”
“Lastly, preform a minor Energy Interior Clap. This should break his Energy Limiter”
“SHOULD!?” Falconeyes shouts
“Okay. Here it goes” Mila says nervously. She performs the Energy Interior Clap which causes a small shock that backs her away from Falconeyes
The boy shakes his head as he didn’t know what exactly happened. He then looks down at his body
Mila looked at her new ally, “So…did I do it right?”
“Considering he’s not dead…we did it correctly” Sydney says in her usual stoic voice
“How are you feeling Falconeyes?” Mila asks
“Well. I don’t feel tired anymore, which is maybe…something”
“It did work. You are absorbing energy from the sun, which is something all energy benders can do. Therefore you’re no longer tired” Sydney says
“So I’m a plant?”
“Sorta. Let the energy buildup and I can teach you some techniques” Mila says with a smile
Three hours passed as it was now the middle of the day. Mila and Falconeyes stood side by side facing one direction
“First thing you need to know about being an energy bender is that we never need to eat or sleep. If we do, it’s by choice” Mila says
“Getting all twenty four hours of the day sounds nice” Falconeyes says
“Not really. I sleep three times a week, but maybe it’s also living over three hundred years”
“Is that all or?”
“Of course not. It’s time for you to perform the Energy Beam” Mila says. She opens her right hand and reaches it out forward. A beam of energy comes out of her hand and causes a small explosion. “It’s pretty standard. You’re not ready for the Four Star Energy Beam, but you’ll probably figure it out sometime down the road”
Falconeyes opens his right hand and reaches it forward. He then fires a smaller beam that causes a small burn in the ground. “That…wasn’t much”
“It takes some practice. Just be careful how much you release and where you point it”
