51- Here we go again

As school started once more and Malia was dead set on heading to Paris. Alex was helping out everywhere she could, she worked shifts at the bar with Simion, she volenteered at the hospital and at the Vet regularly and she hunted anything evil she could get her hands on. 

Sure, Lily and Jess were being watched by Peter but she just wanted all of them to be together. 

Luckily, it was late at night and Mexican food was on special nearby. Grabbing enough of the takeaway for herself and Melissa, Alex happily got onto her bike and drove to the hospital which seemed pretty busy.

When she entered, Alex felt a different type of energy, but she quickly ignored it when she caught a horrible stench and saw Melissa gag before muttering how she would of appreciated food more than whatever that was. 

"Luckily for you, I brought food!" Alex smiled whilst holding up the takeaway. 

"Alex? You're back?!" Liam happily exclaimed and tightly hugged her. 

"I missed you too, Pup." she chuckled before turning to Melissa. 

"You are my savior, you know that?" Melissa asked, hugging Alex once more. 

"So I've been told," Alex playfully giggled, "Do you need me to call in? I can help assess the patients in ways the others won't?" 

"No, it's-" melissa groaned and started to call security as two guys started to fight, unfortunately, Liam got inbetween them and started wolfing out. 

"Shit, sorry. I gotta- Liam!" Alex yelled before jogging after him and bumping into the energy she felt earlier but she was way too focussed on the beta, so she growled at the person before jumping into the elevator with Liam. 

"Hey, hey, Calm down." Alex bent down, noticing how Liam kept muttering three things that wont long stay hidden. 

She summoned a hankerchief for him to wipe his hands off on before holding him tightly. 

"I'm fine, Alex, really. I just-" Liam stopped when he saw the look he was receiving from her. 
"You don't need to talk about it if you don't want to, just know I am here, always.... and that I'm not leaving your side for the rest of the night, so let's get to Mason before he gets in too much trouble." 

She turned around and headed out of the elevatore and towards Mason's car, which was coveniently parken next to her bike, not noticing the admiring look and smile on the beta's face. 

Mason didn't even bat an eye at the fact that Alex demanded to go with them, she called Lucifer to take her bike home and jumped into his car. 

"How are you gonna stay hidden at school? You graduated with a bang last year," Mason asked. 

"A bang? She literally said and I quote: 'Fuck ya'll and your futures, really, I'm over this shit.' before she literally punched one of Danny's friends." Liam laughed. 

"Okay, boys. Behave. Let's just do what you came here for," Alex rolled her eyes before following after the two into the school, only to have her phone ring. 

"Lucifer! What's going on?" Alex questioned, walking with the two teenage boys. 

"There's a weird feeling in the hospital... an energy. I'm taking your bike back but I have to investigate... it feels familiar." Lucifer explained as Alex came to a stop to see what Mason and Liam were staring at. 

Parish and a guy were staring at each other, speaking about something they let out, something that had to be put back...

Not even two seconds later, the guy lit aflame.
