Beautiful Monsters

Part 38

Once more, people were attending school like they thought it would be a normal year this time. Sadly, it was Beacon Hills they resided in and normal would mean supernatural disaster. 

Alex was out of the loop, not knowing that her friends had visited Eichen not long after her escape or Peter Hale's sudden disappearance. 

After spending the following two days getting her mindset back to normal, she felt able to face the world again. Her twins were perfectly fine with Gabriel, though she did not let them know that she was okay-she did check up on them and smiled as she saw Sam, Dean, Castiel and Jack. She was yet to meet the latter of the four, but they seemed happy, so she didn't bother. 

She had redyed her red streaks into her hair, though it was now a shorter bob like haircut. Her face had light makeup, blue eyes seeming brighter than they had been in a long time. Her lips colored a blood red. Apart from the obvious sword and shield tattoos on each of her arms, Alex had gotten two extra ones the night before. One was a simple veil, just below her collarbone, next to the birthmark she used to share with Kate. The other on the opposite side of her collarbone, it was a darker veil. 

Magic tattoos. The darker veil had kanima venom, a present from Jackson. It refilled on it's own. The other was the veil that could hold her grace, only when needed. 

Alex walked to her closet, pulling out a pair of black jeans, a maroon colored V-neck she stole from Peter's closet, her heeled combat boots and her black leather jacket. 

Once she was clothed and her hair was brushed and neatly in the styled bob she had cut it in. Alex found her bike in the garage and quickly mounted it before driving towards the school. When she arrived, she slowly took her black helmet off, neatening her hair and straightening her necklace. She had de-spelled the ring and was now just wearing it as an accessory. 

When she walked through the school, Alex knew everyone seemed to catch her in one way or another. As she strutted, she noticed Scott and Stiles' worried looks as well as something else... or rather two someone's making out. 

"Bitch!" She slapped Lucifer over the head. 

"Your back!" both Lucifer and his boyfriend smiled as they saw her. 

"You look hot, why the change though? You hate change?" Danny asked. 

"I decided it was time for a change, a new era. One where I rule," she smirked. 

"Who caught you up?" Lucifer asked with furrowed brows. 

"I escaped Eichen three days ago, left a bloody message for Lydia and talked to Valack again. I was well informed when I left." She explained. 

"The Senior Scribe?" Danny asked. 

"Stiles seems to have marked for me," she one more answered and caught Liam's scent. 

"Boys, you and I are going to talk about this later... but until then. I have a free period," She winked at Lucifer and walked towards Liam. 

Just as Scott and Stiles were about to enter their class, did they catch Alex grabbing Liam's hand and running off. This caused Scott to start fuming with anger and Stiles to wonder what the hell his sister was up to. 

Alex stopped running when they arrived at the start of the woods. 

"You're the girl who saved me, Stiles' sister, right?" Liam asked. 

"Alex, that's my name. I apologize that we haven't had the pleasure of meeting sooner." She spoke, inhaling deeply as her enviroment calmed. 

"I should say thank you, what you did was cool." Liam told her.
