If Olivia could bottle up how she was feeling tonight she would probably name it 'anticipation'. After the way things had gone at Mason's midweek birthday night at the pub she had felt a bit more at ease with the idea of being around Declan and the group, however with the way CeeCee and John were kind of at each other's throats it made her feel a little bit uneasy in her stomach. So if anything she just felt like this night could go many ways, and she wasn't feeling neither positive or negative about it and that suited her well.
So as she walked into the extremely loud pub, shrugging off her fluffy white jacket revealing her black silk bralette and pink sequin mini skirt, with a pair of simple black heels she braces herself for her first somewhat uncomfortable conversation of the night.
"Be back with drinks baby" she said with a smile to CeeCee who was looking smugly at the people stood around them, crowded into the lounge part of the bar, all chairs and tables pushed aside, yet the sofa the girls normally sit on had a huge reserved sign on it with the names 'FOR OLIVIA AND CELESTE' in bold scribbled writing that they both knew was Dec's. She wanted to make a mental note to thank him about it later, especially as the heels she had stolen from Liv tonight weren't the most comfortable.
Liv makes her way through the crowds of people, brushing past a few of Lucy's friends with a smile and then Mason's parents who she stops and shares hugs and kisses as well as small talk before she makes her way towards the end of the bar, knowing she needs to get this over with.
"Sorry Ben, can I just borrow him for a second?" she said flashing a pearly smile in his direction as he reaches for his cup and smirks.
"Think you're in trouble mate" Ben said as he slapped John on the back, where he was stood leaning against the bar.
John scoffs before smiling at Liv "do you want a drink first before you tell me off for whatever i've done now?" he says still grinning at the way Liv rolls her eyes.
"I'm not here to tell you off, but yes you can get our drinks" she said with a smirk as Ivy appeared in front of them "a orange juice, with NO alcohol in it, and i'll have a large fruity gin and lemonade, surprise me with the flavour babe, and he's paying" she said with a grin as Ivy laughed, rushing off to make the drinks for the girl she seemed to aspire to be.
"So?" said John leaning one arm on the bar top as he tilted down slightly to talk to Liv, his eyes clocking CeeCee momentarily in the distance behind her but snapping back to look at her best friend as he still didnt like the way it felt inside when he saw her.
"Whatever game you are playing with Celeste, leave me out of it" Liv said with conviction to her voice "I hate that you two are both acting this way and I hate even more that I'm being dragged into the middle of it" she said as John frowned at her.
"I'm not dragging you into anything Liv, you know that, I wouldn't do that to you" he said, his frown lines getting deeper as he hears the glasses placed on the bar beside them before he reaches into his back pocket, pulling out his card, tapping it without looking before offering Ivy a small smile as she blushes and moves on.
