What was she doing?
She could be all content in her own apartment, after a long warm shower, wearing sweats, eating the waffles she had already made the batter for with two of her best friends while her and Celeste take the piss out of John like how they love to do on a Saturday.
However here she was after a quick wash in the shitty gym showers, trying to avoid her hair as best she could, before rushing John back to hers, telling a shellshocked Celeste and a clueless John that they needed to actually make their own Saturday brunch today (she had practically prepared it all, left instructions on how to cook it and got the pans and utensils they needed out, an idiot could make it) because she was going out, not telling either of them where she was going and she doesn't know why.
She had quickly gone down to her room, threw on her wide blue jeans, not the ones she wanted as she had taken them to Australia and although she hadn't worn them Celeste deemed they had a 'holiday smell' to them so should be freshened up, a short brown crop top which meant she could forgo the bra and a sheer cropped shirt over the top, before grabbing her handbag, sunglasses and putting on a pair of low heels, because firstly who doesn't love a cute brown heel and secondly because CeeCee was right and these jeans that she just had to get and couldn't wait to order the petite ones when she got home were in fact too long to wear with the white converse like she had planned so she needed a pair of heels.
She quickly untied her hair, running a comb through it as she realised she just had to embrace the slight curls that had filled her once straight locks, while using her sunglasses as a headband because the only bow she could find was a pink one which wouldn't go with the outfit.
And now she was stood here, even though the air was warm and with the sun out it was definitely a beautiful April day she couldn't mistake the chills that covered her body, chills that she wasn't a massive fan of.
She questioned everything as she walked to this spot, at least once or twice she almost turned away contemplating that this was a bad idea, that it seemed a bit odd for them to be doing this, even though at times before they had done exactly this, they weren't strangers to spending a morning together scouring a food market for produce for Liv's vlog or for a new ingredient for a recipe he was working on for the pub.
