Lost Home

Searching for a place to call my own,
Yet, no walls, no hearth, no familiar tone,
Lost in a world unknown, adrift,
Longing for the home, my heart's gift.

My sanctuary, my mom and dad,
Gone beyond, aching, sad,
In realms unseen, I hope they rest,
In peace, in love, forever blessed.

No earthly abode can fill the void,
Left by the ones I dearly adored,
Lost in a sea of memories, bittersweet,
Yearning for their presence, complete.

So, I wander, aimless, in the night,
Seeking solace, seeking light,
In the stars, in the sky, in the air,
Hoping to find them, somewhere out there.
