Solitude's Embrace

In the silence of my solitude,
I choose myself, I must conclude,
Tired of deciphering minds,
Lost in the maze, where kindness binds.

If I skip the reunion's call,
Lost in the shadows, standing tall,
Confusion reigns, a tangled brew,
Uncertain of what to pursue.

Understand the weary soul,
Bearing burdens, losing control,
Birthdays fade, occasions blur,
Aching heart, thoughts obscure.

Hate lingers, a heavy weight,
As time ticks, sealing fate,
Alone I seek, in the dark,
Lost in questions, an endless mark.

So, grant me solitude's gentle hand,
In the quiet, where I stand,
Listening to the whispers within,
Finding solace, where I've been.
