Heavy Hearts

In the sky, clouds gather, heavy and gray,
Just like my eyes, filled with tears unspoken,
Lost in a sea of emotions, I sway,
Not knowing where to begin, feeling broken.

The weight of my feelings, a burden so deep,
Each minute passing, a struggle to bear,
Tears flow freely, a river so steep,
Blame upon blame, a heavy cross to wear.

In the mirror, I see a face full of sorrow,
Self-blame echoing in the chambers of my mind,
Caught in the web of peer pressure's cruel borrow,
A people pleaser, in a world unkind.

Yet, in the midst of this ordinary pain,
A numbness settles, the hurt fades away,
A heart once heavy, now lightened again,
In the stillness of acceptance, I find my way.
