Echoes of Youth

In the realm of childhood, where innocence thrived,
We played hide and seek, our hearts alive.
From prisoner to free, we roamed far and wide,
In heaven and earth, no boundaries could divide.

We ventured to the river, where laughter would flow,
Bathing in joy, our spirits all aglow.
In the paradise world, we danced on the breeze,
Swinging high, soaring above the trees.

On bicycles we rode, carefree and bold,
Unfazed by the challenges, our stories untold.
Even in basketball, where skills were not our forte,
Punished we were, but it only added to our play.

But then came the day, when tears filled our eyes,
As we bid farewell, forced to say our goodbyes.
Life took its course, as we grew and matured,
Yet the memories of our friendship endured.

Longing to reunite, the wait seemed so long,
Bringing chocolates and clothes, a welcome song.
Excitement filled our hearts, as we drew near,
But their world had changed, and ours was no longer dear.

They had children now, a different path they tread,
Their focus shifted, as new chapters were spread.
Yet life marched on, as we fought for our dreams,
For a future that gleamed, like sunlit streams.

Though the echoes of youth may fade and dim,
Our spirits persevered, through thick and thin.
For life is a journey, with twists and turns,
And in the pursuit of our dreams, our fire still burns.

So let us embrace the challenges we face,
With determination and grace, we'll find our place.
For as we fight for our dreams and our kin,
Life goes on, a melody that never grows thin.
