It was raining on and off all day and with signs of an overcast for the next few days which would be a great backdrop for one of their emotional scenes, the director and PD decided that it would be best to have their leads rest for the day.

But that didn't necessarily mean that they had to stay in the hotel right?

He leaned against the wall, restless as he checked his watch before looking back at the elevator. Once he knew that they had a free day he had already rushed to ask Ji Won if she wanted to spend the day exploring the city. She had agreed with that sweet smile of her's. She mentioned that she just wanted to change into something more comfortable to explore in and she'd be right back.

Lips tucked in, he nervously tapped his fingers against his arm before opening up his phone again. "There's a that famous coffee shop and then there's the museum that she mentioned she wanted to go to. Oh and there's the bookstore and I think we could finish off with a walk around the park...Oh we should probably go to the bridge so that we can get used to it for the scene tomorrow."

He honestly didn't like not having a plan, it was a sort of last minute request and judging by how Ji Won would often opt out of going out too much. If he didn't ask, she would probably be in her room watching shows and movies off her tablet or reading a book or two.  He was actually more surprised at her agreeing to go out with him.

"Isn't this..kind of like our first date?" He muttered under his breath before he he ran a hand through his hair and inhaled slowly. "It's fine. this is fine. We are just two people getting to know each other. Yeah. This is good for the drama." He said with a nod and clenched his fist in front of him as if to say FIGHTING to himself.

"Oppa?" He felt a small tug on his shirt and turned around to see Ji Won smiling at him and then looking at his clenched fist. "Is everything alright?"

He looked at his fist and unclenched it before nodding quickly. "Everything is fine. Just doing some hand exercises. It's a bowling habit." He quickly put together the excuse and smiled at her nervously.

She brought her hand up and clenched it tightly before looking at him. "Like this?"

Wow. She believed me. She's like a duckling. I'm going to lose my mind at how cute she is if she continues doing this.

"Ahh.." He took her hand in his gently and then moved some of her fingers to properly do the exercise. "More like this. You don't want your nails to dig into your palm. More flat like this. It'll help with making your fingers more flexible."

"Ohh..so like this." She moved her fingers a bit and smiled at him. "Did I do it right?"

He grinned and nodded. "We should go before it rains again."

"Oh I brought an umbrella just in case." She noticed that he didn't have one and then placed it into her tote bag. "Guess we will have to share."

He chuckled. "Guess so."

As they left the hotel, he looked at his phone to check the map to the coffee shop before she took his hand pulled him in the other direction.

"Eh?"He looked at her with a confused expression but the smile she gave him just screamed, trust me.  And so he followed her lead and they ended up at another coffee shop, smaller, quieter. Nothing like the famous one he had found online.

"One of our stylists told me that this place had really good coffee. Really bitter but has that nutty taste. That's the kind you like, right? They also have really good pastries that I wanted to try."

"How did you know?" Surprised, curious, was there ever going to be a day where this girl didn't make him feel like every experience was a first for him?
