Zion Bennett is the older twin of the two. In New Orleans, Zion Bennett, the older twin of the two, encountered many forms of magic while growing up. He dabbles in both Traditional, Kemiya and Algorithmic Magic. He is very skilled in assessing threats and dealing with them. Zion despises ancestral magic after discovering the Harvest when he was 15.
Zion enjoys spending time with older vampires, as he learns a lot in their presence. As he is a powerful and well-liked man, Zion has built a network that benefits not only himself but the entire Bennett coven. However, Zion does not get along with Marcel Gerad as he finds his rules for witches are ridiculous and unfair. Once in retaliation because of a friend of his being killed, Zion decimated half of Marcel's forces and then locked away Davina's magic.
Marcel was unprepared to face a Bennett coven member and immediately ordered a hit on Zion... He failed and was brutally reminded that he was not the King of New Orleans. After this, a new order was formed, and the council made a blood vow. Marcel would remain the king of vampires and he would be responsible for them, but he could not meddle in the affairs of werewolves, witches, and humans.
The blood vow ensured that neither faction could move against the next, granting each one protection. They renew the vow automatically every 5 years.

Zahra- Rose Bennett grew up in New Orleans alongside her brother. Unlike Zion, she not only admired the magic of their home, but was drawn into it. Zahra practices Traditional, Ancestral and Necromancy magic. Zahra has a strong affinity for water and frequently starts her day by swimming. While Zahra dabbles in Ancestral magic, she does not like the harvest and alters her practice of Ancestral Magic solely to the Bennett line.
Shelia was the first person to point out Zahra's gift when she was 8 and managed to see and talk to the ancestors to trace all the Bennett descendants from Qetsiyah to herself and Zion. While Zion can see when a person can die, Zahra can see their family line's past, present and future. Often it allows her to see her brother's most compatible partners.
Zahra is a beautiful witch with no issues flirting and dating but refuses to sleep with anyone she is not married to. Her popularity in New Orleans has deemed her both a networker and seductress. Zahra has also earned the ire of Marcel Gerad and has frequently made his views about magic clear while also wanting her to warm his bed.
Zahra helped her brother decimate half of Marcel's forces after he killed her boyfriend and Zion's best friends. She managed to give over 100 vampires a painful aneurysm while her brother killed them. After this event, Zahra helped initiate the blood vow and then moved out of the French Quarter.
