Chapter 18: Coffee, and a Show

Kats POV

We all hopped in the car ready to get some coffee. On the way there Ross decided to make the ride highly awkward, "Whats up with you too?" He asked looking down at our intertwined fingers, "Nothing." I stated hastily dropping Rockys hand, "but u were just..." he said completely confused, "I know what u think, but no." Rocky said sounding kind of disappointed, "Talk to me when we get inside." It was then that I realized we were already at Starbucks. I got out and ran inside with Izzy at my heels. "Can I get an iced mocha?" I asked the guy at the counter. "If I can get ur number?" He replied with a smirk on his face. "Yeah no, just get her coffee." Rocky said pushing through Izzy and I.

Ross's POV

Oh shit!!! Rocky looks pissed!!! That guy was flirting with Kat!!!

Anyways, when me and Rocky first walked in we took our seats at the corner by a window. "Alright, tell me what the fuck is going on." I said bc he didn't look like he was gonna be the one to talk first. "OK, me and Kat aren't dating. I'm going to ask her tonight tho." he said, he didn't continue so, "What about tomorrow?" I said wondering if Andre called and told him we were continuing tour tomorrow, "What about tomorrow?" Well I guess he didn't tell him. "Bro, we're starting tour up again tomorrow." I said hoping he wasn't going to freak out, "What the hell!!!" He yelled. I thought i made him mad, but it turns out it was the guy taking their order. He was flirting with Kat.

They all walked back with a lot of coffee. "So...I don't know what we are going to do about tour." I said thinking Rocky actually listened. "We have to go on tour again? When?" He asked frantic. "Tomorrow." I stated putting my head down bc I knew Izzy was going to start crying. She did. "Wait! What?!? Not now!! I was going to ask Kat out!!! I can't do that and then just leave." Rocky said pacing back and forth, "Lets just go." Kat said grabbing Rocky's wrist and dragging him out. Izzy and I followed. "How long were we there?" Izzy asked noticing the change in temperature outside. "A long ass time." Kat replied. "Lets go get something to eat, and go to the beach so I can properly say goodbye." Ross said. "Where's Riker, Shy, Rydel, and Ell?" Izzy asked, "Double date." Rocky answered.

Izzys POV

We headed to In 'N Out for lunch. We had to go through the drive-thru bc we didn't have much time before the boys had to be home to pack and leave for the airport.

~Kats POV~

We got to the beach around when the sun was setting, "Can we walk?" Rocky asked offering me his hand. "I guess." I took his hand, and walking down the beach, "I've got to get something out of the car." I heard Ross tell Izzy as he got up, "Okay." Is all she said and I could tell she was trying not to cry. "Hey?" Rocky asked grabbing my hand, and intertwining our fingers. "Yeah?" I replied trying not to make it obvious that I wanted cry. "No matter how we leave here, friends, maybe more, I want you to know that I will never forget you, and when I get back I will see you." He said and I could see a tear run down his cheek. Thats when I started crying.

Izzys POV

I don't want him too leave... "Baby?" Ross said walking back with a guitar case. "A guitar?" I questioned. "Don't mind that." He said waving it off, "I got u something." "What?" I asked as he pulled out a heart-shaped box. "Open it." He said as he handed it to me. "What is this for?" I asked as I pulled out the ring. "Its a promise ring. I promise that no matter how long I'm gone for, I will always, always love u." He said as he started to cry. Bc he was crying, I cried.

Rocky and Kat came back. She was also wearing a brand-new ring. They were both crying. Ross pulled out his guitar, and Rocky and him started singing with tear-stained eyes.
