Jungkook fluttered his eyes open, and for a second, he almost believed that he had gone blind. There was no source of light; just utter darkness. He tried to get up, but his arms weighed him down with shackles tied to his wrists and, upon trying to lift his legs, on his ankles.

He groaned and muttered. "What did I get myself into?"

As if on cue, a door opened, and a bright yellow light of a torchlight greeted his eyesight, and he mentally thanked his eyes for being strong. However, the relief washed away quickly when he the smell of that familiar avocado cologne hit his nose.

No, it couldn't be...

"Hey, darling."

The voice of Sehun met his eardrums, vibrating his entire body and making his skin stand up in goosebumps. He couldn't cower back. He needed to stand for himself, even when the chances were as low as his energy.

"Where are my friends?" He yelled, shaking the metals holding him back. Although he couldn't really see much, he imagined Sehun smirk.

"Oh, they're well kept. We gave them a shower, some dinner, and a nice comfy bed to sleep on!" He finished with a loud clap of his hands, and his bodyguards cackled like jackals. Jungkook grimaced.

The lights turned on. He couldn't have imagined any better, but he tied up in a solid white room with nothing inside except for a CCTV, a chair (where Sehun was seated), and a jar of spicy candies (what was that for?), kept beside him at a leg's reach.

"You imagined we'd give them any better place to stay?" Sehun said sarcastically, placing a hand down his clean shaved chin. "Hah! I'm sorry to disappoint you. But I must say, we would have been kind enough to pit them together if that girl hadn't tried biting my wrists off. They're currently locked up in separate rooms, starving but having enough energy to scream curses."

Jungkook gritted his teeth, but his eyes went to Sehun's wrist. The left one looked like a bracelet had been implanted into the skin, while the right one was red with fingerprints.

He mentally smirked in victory at that.

"So you couldn't hold down a girl, drained of energy and weapons, with your own team, to bite your wrist off?" He chuckled dryly.

Sehun raised an eyebrow and then let out a hearty laugh. "Gods! You're so good at this, sweety. But let me tell you," he leaned closer and grabbed Jungkook's face, squishing his mouth and unfortunately cutting his airways, too, "once we find the Kim siblings, I'll marry you in front of that bastard for your boyfriend and you'll watch as he dies."

He chuckled before letting go of his face. Jungkook felt horrible, but he didn't dare show it; Taehyung wasn't his anymore. They weren't the protective couple anymore. They were just broken, and the reason was absolutely Jungkook.

While Sehun was busy laughing with his guards and sharing snarky remarks, Jungkook scanned the room. His eyes landed on the glass jar. If he could just get himself to crash it into pieces.

No way.

He knew that wasn't possible with the dudes hanging around him. He couldn't, even if he tried, reach the jar. Sehun noticed him staring at the candies.

"Woah, you like those?" he mused, his voice dripping with fake sweetness. He motioned one of his guards to take the jar and hand it over to Jungkook.

It was just exactly what he needed.

"What made you think I'd eat something that was in the same place as you?" Jungkook remarked, his words seeming to annoy Sehun who scowled.

"You don't want to be saying that while twelve guns are pointing at your little heart, honey," he said and stood up, bending to down so close to Jungkook that their noses were just inches away from eachother.
