~2 months later~
It had been 2 months now Jimin and jungkook became close friends , like really really close~
It was another day as Jimin sat under the cherry blossom tree, waiting for Jungkook to show up, but the older boy was late .
"Where are you hyungie?.Please come," Jimin mumbled to himself, his eyes scanning the area for any sign of him.
Jimin felt upset and the thought of going back home without seeing Jungkook made his heart sink. He knew his parents would be worried about him so he should go home right ? .
Just as Jimin was about to leave , he spotted a figure in the distance, he thought jungkook came but as the figure drew closer, Jimin's heart sank once again.
It wasn't Jungkook, but a stranger walking past the cherry blossom tree, oblivious to Jimin's disappointment.
Jimin's eyes filled with tears as he realized Jungkook wasn't coming.
His shoulders fall down in defeat as he gathered his things and began to make his way back to his home. But something inside him refused to give up. He couldn't just go back without seeing Jungkook, without knowing why he hadn't shown up.
With a determination ,Jimin turned towards jungkook's house ,where he noticed him standing outside but talking to a girl.
His heart ached as he saw the girl holding a single red rose.
Jimin's heart felt like it was being ripped apart as he watched the scene unfold before him. He knew he shouldn't be jealous, that Jungkook had every right to have other friends besides him but the sight of Jungkook with someone else,shattered his heart .
But his heart broke when the girl suddenly leaned in and hugged Jungkook tightly.
He quickly ducked behind a nearby pillar, his eyes brimming with unshed tears.
Was this what it felt like to be in love with someone who saw you only as a friend? Or he was wrong because jungkook has right and he himself didn't confess his love to him but he couldn't bear to see Jungkook with someone else.
With a heavy heart, Jimin turned away and ran as fast as he could back to his own house, where he could be alone with his thoughts.
