Alpha's Mate

Chapter 11

I deepened the kiss instantly. A groan emitted from the back fo Jace's throat. A very sexy groan that only wanted to make me get closer to him. Right now I was already on his lap, but suddenly that wasn't close enough either. I moved my hands to unbutton his shirt.

Jace pulls back. "Morgan, stop."

I pull away. "I thought you wanted me." I started to pout.

He kissed my little pout "I do, but werewolves making love is different then humans. Especially when it involves the Alpha male and the Alpha female."

"Different how?" I asked him.

"Well, there is always a 99% chance that you will be pregnant afterwards." he said.

"Oh." I said. I rested my head on his shoulder. "Then I guess we wait till marriage."

He runs a hand through my hair. "It'll be sooner then you know it, Morgan."

All of a sudden Jackson walks in. "Is it true that you two are engaged?" he asks.

"Yeah." I said to my brother.

"Why this sudden?" he asks.

"Because we had a choice either get married, or the other pack was going to take Morgan with them. And if I refused both then there'd be war between our packs." Jace explained.

"So your not doing it because she's pregnant?"

"Where the hell did you get that from?" I asked him.

"A bunch of people were saying that." he shrugged.

"And you believed them?" I asked, hurt that my own brother thought I was pregnant.

He sighs. "I don't know. So you are getting married because you had a choice?"

"No. I also love Jace." I said.

Both of them gasped. That was the first time I had said 'I love you' to anyone but my brothers. Jackson knew that, and so did Jace. So it was a big deal.

"And I love Morgan." Jace replied with a blinding smile.

"Good, at least you two aren't going into a loveless marriage." Jackson said.

"We are mates, Jackson, we are going to love each other no matter what. She is my perfect half, and I am hers." Jace said, kissing my forehead.

I rested my head on his shoulder. Without meaning too I started to yawn.

"Come on, baby, I'll take you to bed." Jace says.

He carries me tightly in his arms. We go past Jackson on the way out. Instantly we head to Jace's room. He set me down gently on the bed then got up to leave.

I grabbed his hand and pulled him down. "Where do you think your going?"

"I'm going to let you sleep." he says, kissing me softly.

"No, your sleeping with me." I said.

He chuckles. "All right."

Jace lays down beside me. Instantly I put myself into his arms. Soon I am fast asleep.
