Chapter 5 and picture of Jackson

Jace groaned after he got off the phone with someone.

"What's wrong?" I ask him.

"Looks like we'll be having company." he said. "Another pack is going to be coming to meet with me. You might want to go change into something nice. They are the ones that you want to impress."

"All right." I say with a sigh.

I go into my room and change out of my usual attire of jeans and a plaid button up shirt. i go to my closet after putting on a robe, looking for something nice to wear. Instantly I spy a white peasant sundress. I add matching peasant platform heels. I pull my hair back and tie it with a white bow. I pick a daffodil from the vase on my nightstand and pit it in my hair. Jace had given me the flowers since he knew they were my favorite. He must have found that out from Jackson.

I go back to Jace's study. He is still sitting at his desk, rubbing his temples. I move behind him and start massaging his back. Instantly he relaxs under my touch. "You are perfect." he breathes.

"I know." I whisper in his ear.

Jackson walks into the room with Jack in tow. "They're here."

Jace get's up and heads to the front of the house. Jackson takes Jack to put him in his room since Jace didn't want the visitors to see him. I couldn't blame him. I didn't want Jack exposed to any potential danger I didn't know about. Soon Jackson rejoined us.

The front door opens and five people walk in. All of them ae dressed in semi-formal outfits, obviously showing off the fact that they are rich. They hold themselves with pride and elegance. One that I could probably never achieve. The blonde girl in the group lights up when she see's Jace, flashing him a dazzing white smile.

"Jace!" she squeals and hugs him tightly.

I feel an instant stab of jealousy. I already couldn't stand her.

He pushed her off him. "Tina, this is Morgan."

She glares at me.

"I am Jackson, Morgan's brother." he introduced himself.

She goes from a glare to a look of amazement isntantly when she see's him.

"Morgan, the others are Triton, Yushi, Warren, and Darla." Jace introduced me to them.

"It's nice to meet you." the Japanese lady, I'm guessing Yushi, said to me.

"Likewise as well." I said with a smile.

One of the males scoffs. "I didn't know you kept human pets, Jace."

"Shut up, Warren." he growls, overprotectively. "She is not a pet."

"Your right, a play toy then." Warren smirks. "Can I play with her while I visit, Jace? I promise I won't break her."

"You will not touch Morgan." he growls.

"Oh really? Why not?"

Jace looks at me helplessly. He wants to tell them that I am his mate so bad, but since I hadn't accepted him he couldn't. He wanted me to make the next move, not him.

"Because I am his mate." I said confidently, slipping my hand into his.

Everyone quite frankly was shocked that I had admitted that. Everyone knew that i was nervous about saying that I was Jace's mate. But everyone from Jace's pack was happy, you could see that on their face's.

All except Jackson, who glared at Jace. "We need to talk later."

Jace nods to him then turns to Warren. "You will not touch a hand on my mate."

"What ever, man," he rolled his eyes. "More wolves in this pack that are wiling to be my toy."  He then huffs off, obviously mad that I could be his play toy.

Triton growled at Jace. "Look what you did, ass hole. You screwed with him again. I ought to bite your head off."

I curled into Jace's chest, hoping that he could sheild me from Triton.

"It'll be okay." he murmers to me. "He's all bark but no bite."

Just then the door opens again. Another rich member comes and joins them.

When I see him I try to bury myself deeper into his arms. Jackson get's in front of me protectively.

"Who is he?" Jace asks, instantly picking up on the wide spread panic my nervous system was sending out.

"Our newest member of the pack." Darla said. "Allow me to introduce you to-"

I cut her off. "Cameron Graves."

Jace looked at me in shock. "You know him?"

I nod. "Unfortunately."
