《11:45 p.m. Hawkins High-School》

Will and El were now skipping together, they didn't feel like going to third period, so, they took the Mike route.

"Here" El handed Will and cookie, Will rose his brow and smirked taking the cookie "What's this for?"

El shrugged smiling "I never see you eat anything, so you know, you can have this cookie"

Will nodded slightly and looked at the cookie, taking a bite "Do you think you'll ever be friends with Mike again?"

El asked and Will shrugged "I mean, I don't know...probably?" El sighed "I don't know if it's because I get attached quickly...but I already feel like I was in love with Mike..."

Will turned to El and sighed "Y-yea?" El nodded "Yea...but now that we're on this break...I just don't know anymore...i-if Mike is right for me..."

Will nodded, was this hope? I mean sure Will wanted El to be happy and you know he did want Mike to be happy, but has El really fallen out of love with Mike?

"Do you still wanna be with Mike?" Will asks and El shrugged "I-I don't know...I mean, of course I still want Mike to be in my life...but do I want him to be mine..?"

Will turned to her then down to the floor, what was he supposed to say, to do? Was he going to fight for his bestfriends-

Ex bestfriends relationship or let his die...

"Whatever makes you happy El, if you don't want Mike like that then just be his friend, that always enough."

El turned to Will and smiled nodding "Yea, it is..." El sighed "Speaking of friends...are we friends?"

Will smiled softly and nodded "Yea, of course we're friends, you're apart of our party now, and you're great."

El smiled handing Will another cookie, they then spent the rest of lunch together talking and really getting to know each other.

Will began to see why Mike liked El so much, she was great.

《3:40 p.m. The Wheelers Resident》

"What the hell do I do!?" Mike exclaimed as he paced around his room, Max and Lucas sitting on his bed.

They had come over after to school to see what's up with him.

"You could apologize?" Lucas said and Mike rolled his eyes "A sorry isn't gonna make up for what I did."

"Well we barley even know what you did Wheeler, you're telling me you brought El to a place that was only ment for you and Will and then lost both of them I the same night?"

Mike nodded "Gosh you are terrible at giving people a reason to stay" Mike groaned "You are not helping."

"Well I understand why they both left you, you lied to El and you broke Will's trust, say, you haven't talked about El once, why is it only Will you wanna work things out with?"

Mike shook his head "It isn't that I don't care about El right now, it's just I need to get Will back...me and El are on a break, Will is gone, Will is a more serious problem right now."

Max and Lucas sharred a look and then shrugged "Alright, what do you think is a good way to apologize to Will?"

"Maybe giving him a gift?" Mike said and Lucas shrugged "I mean maybe, but is that really gaining his trust back?"

Mike sighed and nodded flopping onto the bed alongside Max and Lucas.

"I have no clue what to do! What if I never get Will back!" Mike exclaimed and Max sighed "Will is bound to come back to you...you're his bestfriend, you can't just leave you like that."

"He coul# if he really wanted to, and he did! He said he's not friends with me anymore."

Lucas sighed "Well how about, since Will is clearly the bigger problem, you apologize to El, once you and El have sorted things out, everything will be fine."

"You really think so?" Lucas nodded "You and El are dating, well were dating, so that's a big deal! Will is just your friend-"

"My bestfriend" Lucas rolled his eyes "Yea, yea, so you'll apologize to El first, cause is more serious, then you'll apologize to Will."

Max shook her head and pushed Lucas away "He's got it all wrong, you hurt Will the most out of both of them."

"Didn't you two literally fight in the pouring down rain, tears and all?" Mike nodded "Alright then dumbass you have to apologize to Will first."

"No! Max, El first" now Max and Kucas were bickering and Mike just watched.

He didn't know what to do, he was completely lost, maybe he would just apologize to El first.

Once El was back with him he can get Will back, and everything will be fine once again.

"You have that basketball game tommorow right?" Mike asked and Lucas and Max stopped fighting, Lucas nodding.

"I'll apologize to El there, and once I have El back, I'll apologize to Will."

Max rolled her eyes and Lucas smiled "Alright then, sounds great!" Mike nodded with a smile.

"But how are you going to apologize to El at my game?" Mike thought for a moment "You know, after the game, a sincere apology will fix it, and it will genuinely be sincere."

Lucas nodded "alright then" Max rose her brow "Right, then what about Will?" "I'll apologize to Will the next day, Thursday, and it's gonna be a big grand sorry, he'll definitely forgive me."

Max still questioned "you know big and grand doesn't necessarily mean a big sorry" Mike blew Max off "Yes it does."

Lucas gave Mike a high five "You definitely got this dude!" Mike was now feeling way better about this.

Max still worried Mike would fail with Will's apology, grand doesn't always mean sincere.

"El and Will better be prepared, cause Mike is about to waltz his way back into their lives!"

Mike exclaimed Lucas hyping him up, the two paraded out of Mike's room and down stairs Max still shaking her head.

"These boys have not a clue about how to say sorry properly..."
