BOOM! RUMBLE! VRRRR!
P O W !B A N G ! SCREECH!
Concentrated blasts of energy zoomed by from all directions. This was it, the final battle between the Taasha Armada and the Medsift Vanguard. Armanis was in his ship, a concentrated look on his face, his only goal to eradicate the enemy. Make sure they can't get up. Don't let them hit the ship. Don't let the captain down. These were the only things running through his head.
The Medsift were pushing them back, managing to defend their captain's ship. Taashan soldiers fleeing the battle left and right. Suddenly his comm. system beeped, urging him to answer its call. He connected his comms. to the incoming request and Captain Dayne's voiced boomed from the device, "They're trying to get their captain's ship to Vryia! Do not let them succeed! Armanis! I need you and your troop to get me to the captain's ship! If I get there I can stop her in her tracks!"
Armanis quickly looked back to the battlfield, more and more soldiers were fleeing and that number only grew by the second. The only ones lefter were the higher ranks and those that needed this battle to be won. "Captain! We don't have enough soldiers to-" "I don't care what needs to be done! JUST DO IT!" He flinched from the raw animosity in his voice, the captain always sounded so in control.
Suddenly his comm. system beeped again and he hesitantly glanced at who was sending the request, quickly answering it when he saw his friends names.
Emilea: "Armanis! We should abandon ship! This is a losing battle and you know it!"
His head snapped to the comm. system that had Emilea's voice.
Armanis: "Abandon ship?! Emilea are you crazy! We can't leave now! This is our one chance to beat the Medsift and you want to leave?!?!"
Horrison: "She's right, Armanis! We'll all die if we stay out here!"
Armanis: "Never! I can't abandon the captain, he's relying on me!"
Horrison: "Yeah well we're relying on you too! You're our friend Armanis and despite all our differences we won't abandon you!"
Armanis glared at the comm. system. Did they think he was stupid? Abandoning the cause was the same thing as abandoning him. Don't they know that the Taasha saved him?
Emilea: "I know what we're asking of you but Armanis please! I don't want to see either of you get hurt! We can always try again- in a peaceful way!"
He scoffed.
Armanis: "Yeah right, as if the Medsift will ever be willing to peacefully talk things out. They'e the enemy Emilea. If you guys want to leave so badly then go ahead but I'm staying he-"
B O O M !
What happened? Why is everything spinning?
Emilea: "Armanis?"
Horrison: "Arm-"
He sluggishly turned his head to the voices. What is that?
He turned back to the window. The stars? They're so pretty, They're so bright. My head hurts and everything is-
*REDACTED*: "Armanis watch out!"
A burst of light clouded his vision. Sparks flying, ship pieces everywhere. Blue. Red. Red. Blue. Armanis shook his head and processed the sight before him. A Medsift and Taashan ship collided in front of him. A gruesome sight to be sure. Pieces of burnt flesh and blood slowly danced across his vision.
Who yelled that warning?
He looked closer at the ship names:
N.B-01 and... E.P-26
What?
A body in a bright red suit appeared from the corner of his vision. The normally bright red suit now a darker shade due to the blood splattered on it. This one still had a face intact through greatly disfigured. Is that...
Emilea?
Her lower jaw was missing, and her limbs burnt to the point they were black. Emilea was no longer able to give her cheery smiles to those in need. Emilea was no longer able to giver her comforting hugs to those in need.
Emilea...was dead.
Armanis shot up from his seat, having half the mind to turn on auto-pilot while he tried to keep himself from throwing up. The world was spinning again but not from getting hit with an explosion. Everything felt distant and hypersensitive at the same time. The read light flashing through the ship only served to make Armanis more panicked.
An incessant beeping brought him out of his panic, he slammed the answer button.
Armanis: "Emilea is dead! She sacrificed herself to save me and-"
Captain Dayne: "Armanis! I don't care! That's not important right now!"
Armanis slowly looked down at the comm. system. Don't care? But Emilea's a part of his troops just as much as I am. She's my friend.
Armanis: "But captain-"
Captain Dayne: "ARMANIS!"
He went back to the steering wheel and turned off auto-pilot. He could tell that the captain wasn't willing to tolerate his panic.
Captain Dayne: "Do your job Armanis. I won't ask again."
Armanis tried to respond but the captain cut the comms. before he could. He looekd around the battlefield. Destruction as far as the eye can see, and even farther if using the ship's telescope. Bodies and ships floating by...
A previously unknown feeling of unfairness overtook Armanis. What was unfair? This is warfare, what else was going to happen? Is this right? His arms shook with rage as the thought crossed his mind. He needed to hit something- anything! His comm. system beeped, a signal that someone was trying to conact him. He glared at it like everything that happened was it's fault and without a second thought, bashed it in. I don't want to talk to anyone right now.

Act 3, finished! Please leave an F in chat for Emilea, gone too soon. May she rest upon the stars and let the memory of her smile and hugs be felt through their glow. But anyways! Remember that all is fair in love and war! Unless it's a war crime, then please don't do that. Let's see what happens in Act 4 shall we, my fellow omnipotent writers and readers?
