[Nobody's Pov]

Bruce Wayne and the Joker. Married for 2 years and having a Friday family night. With Alfred, Dick, Jason, Tim and Damian.

Bruce and Selina (Catwoman) share custody with Damian. They dated for only a few months but one night it got frisky.

Damian always questioned, how the fuck did his lack of showing emotion Dad, fall in love with the enemy he has been fighting for years and says he has despised ever since the day they first met battling against each other?

He was gonna ask this question tonight.

"Dad, how did you and Joker fall in love?" Damian looked to Bruce, everyone stopped in their mid conversations curious about that question to now.

Bruce looked to his youngest, he and Joker knew this was inevitable, it'd be brought up sooner or later.

"Do you want to tell the story or should I?" The greatest investigator in Gotham looked to his maniac husband who grinned.

"Brucie, you know I make stories more impactful since I don't sound so bland doing them. No offence big man" Joker replied, hinting he wants to retell the story.

"We're waiting Master Joker" Alfred informed.

[Batman's Pov]

Gordon informed me Joker and Harley were at the park? The fuck? Anyway, they have hostages there tied up so it's usual business, saving people and getting Joker and Harley back into Gotham Asylum.

Odd. Joker didn't bring his goons? I use my cape, gliding down and getting ready.

Joker saw me, smiling bringing his knife up to a woman who's crying. "Bats! Here on time! I didn't quite get to killing yet!"

"You want me to go Mr J?"

"Go wait over there" He pointed as Harley nodded smirking.

"That's stupid to do Joker and you'd be killing someone by now even if I wasn't here. What's this trick?"

Joker laughed. Pulling his knife away from the woman, keeping a distance. "I had to get your attention somehow Batsy! You wouldn't come to see me if it wasn't our little game!"

"No normal person would come to visit you" I replied, having my bat stars ready.

"You do visit sometimes.~Let's get some privacy. Don't fucking send me back to Gotham Asylum yet! Listen to me for once!"

I analyse him, and as he begins to release the hostages, they all would evacuate.

"Now that we have mostly privacy, there's something that I've been wanting to speak to you about Batsy"

"Say it before I get you and Harley thrown into a cell"

Joker's boldness and confidence temporarily disappear, it seems but I'm not sure why he would be.

"I like you Bats" Joker broke the silence, Harley in the background jumping in celebration.

Likes? We despise each other.

"We despise each other and you got my attention for this? Saying you want me to be your friend?"

"Bruce, how the fuck are you that oblivious? You're clever" Jason interrupted.

"He isn't clever when it comes to love. CONTINUING!" Joker continued.

"Not as a friend! No! It's more than that. I have a crush on you Bats! It's been like that for a while and every time I try to convince myself it would pass it hasn't"

That explains. Am I that oblivious? I'm supposed to be the best detective in Gotham.

"A crush on me? Joker, you know why this can't work"

He frowned, it's genuine. So, this explains how I feel, he does feel the same but how would we make this work?

"We can find a way but that's only if you replicate what I feel"

"Joker..."

Joker turned around, "Harley, come on Batman is gonna take us back to Gotham Asylum, wasted our fucking time we'll do something more fun next time"

He only calls me by my alias when he's upset or he's angry or he's serious.

Harley scoffs. "Mister J I'm sorry. I thought it was best that-"

"It's ok pumpkin. Like I said well do something fun next time"

He never lets me finish.

"I feel the same"

Joker looked at me, his frown turning upside down. "YEAH? OH BATS!" He hung onto me, hugging me.

"Hurt him Bats and I'll bring my friends the hammer and bat" Harley warned.

I kissed him on the lips as he accepted it, Harley cheering on.

"We should have bought Iv, I'll just record it to send it to her"

"No! Don't you-" And she's recording.

"Ah, so that's why Joker was in the mansion the next day and you 'pretended' he got into the house" Dick laughed. "You're a good liar Bruce, but you aren't always flawless"

"Don't give Brucie, a tough time~he's just an awful expressing his emotion guy"
