It's a usual night in Gotham City. Batman is in action, as he gets a sign from the bat signal that there is crime activity. Gordon informed him of this; Batman went to the location where Joker was up to his usual activity of holding hostages.

"No Harley tonight?" Batman asked this so he could get Joker to talk on, as he'd make his move to detain him.

"She's on a date with plant girl. Now Batsy if you let me explode the building and take money, I might just let these hostages go unharmed!" He replied by walking closer to the Bat.

"That's not gonna happen, we both know how this ends"

"Where you always get the last laugh? HAAAA! Not tonight Bats~" Joker backed up running in the other direction but Batman made a quick swift move. However, Joker had an object hidden behind his back.

Joker made a response to this move, cuffing Batman to a nearby pole.

Batman grunted but Joker wasn't smart enough to check if he only handcuffed Batman.

Joker was going to walk away to a distance until he realised he was handcuffed with his enemy. "SHIT!" He shouted.

Batman rolled his eyes under his mask. "Don't you have the key in your pocket?"

Joker rubbed his neck chuckling. "I left it on a table over there. I was going to grab it after cuffing you..."

"You fucking dumb clown" Batman responded moving his body and trying to get out the singular cuff as Joker got dragged into the pole.

"STOP IT YOU DICK!"

"I can get out of this and once I do, you're being transported back to Gotham Asylum"

"Can you though?" Joker challenged smiling.

"When I do your ass won't be matching the same tone as your face anymore"

Joker giggled, stroking Batman's face. "Flirting are we? I like when you do it first"

"My nightmares are coming true..." Batman mumbled Joker giggling again.

"Always are!"

I'd reach for my Bat phone.

"Calling so soon? Don't you wanna talk more? Talking between two people brings out true intentions and I'll call Harley she can get the key over there" The clown flirted, wanting to keep Batman occupied on him.

Batman groaned he didn't want to admit but he always wanted to spend time with the clown not to the point of suspicion rising from him.

"Certainly not but now I can't get you back into Gotham Asylum because I know Harley will attack me if I try"

"Take it or leave it Bats"

"Fine"

Joker grabbed his flip phone, calling Harley.

"What Mr J?"

"You and poison girl finished playing date simulator?"

"Yes, we finished our date. Did you get thrown back into Gotham Asylum?"

Joker sighed. "The opposite I accidentally handcuffed myself with the Bats. Can you please come to get the key? I'll send you a text of the location"

Harley laughed on the other side. "HAAA! Will be there soon cya"

Batman avoided Joker's remarks; made as little conversation as possible. He wished things could change but he had his reputation to think about and his family and Gotham.

Harley entered. Looking at the table grabbing onto the key. "I'm here! You weren't shitting! Puds you gotta look next time"

"I KNOW!"

"Get me out of this. Now" Batman demands.

"You don't get to make the demands Bat. If you try a move I have my bat" Harley replied.

"I'll let you two go this one time"

"I knew you had a soft spot Batsy~"

Harley used the key on the cuffs, as they dropped to the ground.

"Let's go Mr J"

Joker looked at his Bat. "Give us a second"

Harley shook her head. "He'll take you back to Gotham Asylum! We don't have time Mr J!"

"HARLEY!"

She walked out giving them time to talk.

"It's only a quickie. Would you like to grab some dinner if we schedule? I have a list of jokes I'd like to share with you"

Batman's face stayed straight, he felt this wasn't the best idea. "Knowing you, this could be a trap to me. Where you poison me and then kill me slowly and what if we get caught and you know I will say no for other reasons"

"If you accept the dinner, I will not be active for a week"

"Two weeks"

"One and a half"

"Done"

"Then it's a date~ we can talk about it tomorrow when I take over a boat" Joker walked off, Batman facepalming questioning why he accepted this when he will only get peace for half a week after.
