At their next class, Jay could hear no one which meant his soulmate didn't take computer science. Jay mentally noted that bit and then proceeded to take down notes as he turned his focus back to his class. "Don't worry too much about it." Sunghoon nudged Jay's side as he whispered into his ear and then proceeded to put a piece of gum into his mouth, "Want some?" Jay shook his head. As he pulled out a textbook from his bag when his teacher asked to, he could hear a boy lost deep in thought, Jay immediately looked at the hallway and saw three boys walking through the empty corridors. He couldn't see their faces but he could hear two giggling very loud and one just watching them. Bingo.
Yet he didn't see his face and didn't even know his name. He just hoped he find him soon enough before it was too late. "Is it one of them?" Sunghoon, who had noticed how Jay's head shot towards the hallway, worried. And when Jay nodded slowly, Sunghoon's eyes widened but he didn't say what shocked him. He quietly watched with Jay how the three boys disappeared from their view and then were brought back to attention by their teacher. Throughout the whole class, Jay couldn't help but wonder what Sunghoon knew about them and Sunghoon couldn't help but think about which one of his friends was Jay's soulmate.
After class ended, it was time for recess. Jay let out a sigh of relief when Sunghoon said that he could join him and his friends. Jay quickly thanked him and then they started packing their bags. Once they were done, they walked the hallways and finally reached the cafeteria. There, Jay spotted a familiar face signalling them to walk over to their table. "Hey guys, we saved you both a seat." At Heeseung's words, Jay smiled softly, he couldn't believe that he remembered saving a seat for him. "Thanks." Jay smiled and then noticed that Heeseung was sitting with two other boys who looked younger than them. He politely greeted them and then waved at them but couldn't shake off the thoughts that ran through his mind. But he managed to tune out of them as he focused on his new friends.
As both of them looked up from their food and at the unfamiliar voice, one of the boys happily chirped at him but the other just stared at him intently. For a second, Jay could hear the thoughts once again, his soulmate was trying to remember the place in which he had seen someone familiar. Jay smiled awkwardly at them as he shook the thought off and then busied himself by giving them an introduction. "I'm Jay!" The boy who was staring at him smiled and then waved his hand at him before speaking, "I'm Jungwon and this is Sunoo. You looked awfully familiar and then I realized you were in my math class. Sorry." Jay laughed and then conversed with them but Sunghoon sat there silently, having a feeling that Jungwon was Jay's soulmate.
