As he entered the class, everyone became dead silent and even though Jay could see no one talk, he could hear a voice. No, he could read someone's mind. His heart fluttered as he realized that his soulmate was around him. He frowned only slightly as he scanned the room to find him because he knew what exactly that meant. As he focused more on the thoughts, he realized just how much his soulmate was curious about him and he smiled slightly, waving at the class as he politely introduced himself. The class greeted him back with equal politeness and then got back to what they were doing, the students were noisy as the teacher tried to calm them down.

Jay found himself a seat, upset because he could hear his soulmate wanting Jay to sit near him. But he didn't know who it was yet, so he just took the first empty seat he could find and placed his belongings there before turning his attention towards the teacher, who was giving a basic introduction. Throughout his class, he could barely concentrate, for he was tuning into his soulmate's thoughts without realizing it. Jay could hear him wondering about him and even solving a few questions the teacher would assign every now and then. And Jay hated when he would have to shift his attention back to class instead of listening to his soulmate's rambling.

An hour passed and then a few minutes were left until class would end, he wanted to know who his soulmate was but thought about finding it out later since he wanted to get used to everything. As math class ended, he waited for Sunghoon so that he could take him to his next class. "Sunghoon, I may sound crazy but I could hear someone's thoughts in there," Jay spoke as soon as Sunghoon stopped and then pointed at his class. Sunghoon's eyes widened as he realized what Jay was trying to say. "You mean, it was your soulmate?" Jay nodded slowly and Sunghoon sighed, it was only his first day and it started off like this.

"You know you'll have to find him soon right?" Jay nodded once again as he started to walk along with Sunghoon who was leading the way. "I know, I just want to fit in first. Know how things work in here." Sunghoon smiled encouragingly at Jay and then patted his shoulder. "You'll do fine in here. Just make sure you find your soulmate before it's too late. It's a big school with many students, and you may lose contact with them soon if they decide to move on." Jay groaned, Sunghoon was right. He had to act quickly before his soulmate would end up lost in the depths of the school walls. It was only the first day and Jay was already a worried mess.
