It was just twenty-five minutes that he spent with his new friends and they were already chatting like they had known each other for forever. Soon enough, they were also joined by Ni-ki and Jake who were all part of the same group. All of them welcomed Jay with open hands and he even found someone to speak English with. His friends couldn't stop asking him about America and he enjoyed answering. The rest of the day went by quickly at school and the boys even planned to hang out after school so that they could show Jay around. Jay, who loved going out, agreed happily and also offered to take them all out to dinner.

After school, they all went their ways and then decided to meet at the mall for some shopping. Sunghoon, who knew where Jay lived kindly offered him a ride and Jay accepted without any kind of hesitation, damn sure that if he would try to go on his own he would eventually end up on the missing people's list. As they reached home, Jay quickly completed some of his homework, wanting to make a good impression on the first few days of his school and then ate his lunch before taking a nice warm shower. He took his time in the bathroom as he enjoyed the warmth of the steam even after he stepped out.

Eventually, he was dressed up and looking forward to their outing, forgetting about his soulmate only for a moment. As Sunghoon parked outside Jay's house, he quickly hopped inside and then put on his seatbelt. Soft music was playing from the speakers and Jay hummed along with Sunghoon, who surprisingly had a voice very beautiful. The ride was not too short and the two quiet boys shockingly had a blast during the drive. When they got to the mall, they noticed Heeseung and Jungwon shaking their heads at them and Jay could hear the thoughts again. They are such kids! Jay suspected that it could be one of his friends but then again, they were getting nasty stares from many so he shook it off.

"What?" Sunghoon raised a brow and then shrugged as if he had not just parked his car with the music blasting on full volume. The rest sighed disappointed and Jay cackled, watching them shake their heads as if they had expected it from the two cousins. All seven of them wandered around multiple stores for a while and then eventually split up, Jake, Jay and Sunghoon were on the first floor while the rest were already on the second. Even though Jay had spent only an hour shopping with Sunghoon, he hated it. He didn't have the patience to put up with Sunghoon's second doubts. As Sunghoon still wandered around the store, Jay sat outside the waiting room with the things he had to buy and Jake tried on a few things.
