Math class had begun, and the teacher started by reviewing the homework she had given the students the day before. It started with her solving a few questions on the board but when she realized that half the class hadn't done it, she decided to ask the students to solve them instead. Jay, who had done the homework just casually shrugged it off but he could hear his soulmate praying hard to not get chosen. Not because he hadn't completed the homework, but because he was just too anxious to go and face the whole class. Jay smiled softly.

"Jay, since you're smiling so much, how about you come up first?" Jay nodded as he stood up, he could sense his soulmate's worry but shrugged it off as he brought himself back in class. Jay confidently solved the question and then walked back to his seat, earning a few praises from the teacher. After he sat, a few more students were called up front, including Jake, who effortlessly solved his question. Within that time, Jay could still hear his soulmate not wanting to be picked. Finally, the last question came around it was rather slow but almost over and Jungwon was called to answer it.

That's when Jay's heart quickened its pace. He could hear the thoughts once again, he was complaining about being chosen. And he hated it. Jay's eyes widened. It was Jungwon all along. That explained it all, hearing his thoughts at the lunch table, the mall and in every other class that they shared. Jay swallowed, impatient as he waited for class to end. Jungwon was just a few seats away. And here Jay was, wasting precious minutes learning equations that didn't matter to him at that moment. Every tick of the clock felt like an eternity as he clandestinely stole glances in the younger's direction, desperately yearning for an opportunity to tell him.

The numbers and formulas on the chalkboard became background noise to Jay's overactive imagination, consumed by the possibilities of Jungwon's reactions and the whole situation. It was a peculiar mix of excitement and frustration, as time seemed to crawl slower than ever before. And then the class was finally over. Jay quickly gathered his belongings and ran after Jungwon, who was already outside class. The older looked to the left and then to the right only to find him a little further away from him. "Hey! Jungwon!" Jay probably looked stupid right now, one hand waving in the air as he called for Jungwon.

His yelling definitely didn't go unnoticed by Jungwon who identified Jay's voice and turned around to look for him. Seeing a hand flailing in the air got Jungwon's attention as he walked back to Jay while Jay walked towards him. In a few seconds, they were standing face to face and silence engulfed them, in a few minutes, the hallway was cleared, leaving only the two of them in it. Jay took in a deep breath, he didn't know what exactly he was supposed to say, "I have something to tell you, Won." Jungwon smiled softly, his Hyung had finally realized, not that he could read his mind but he could tell from his face. "I know already Hyung, you're my soulmate."
