When Jennie entered their mansion, she felt a flush of warmth from her blushed cheeks, not noticing the three people waiting for her. As she looked up, her smile faded when she saw the person she least wanted to see. Her face turned from flushed to a deep frown, and anger quickly took over.

"What is that man doing inside my house? Didn't I tell you not to see me again?" Jennie clenched her hands into fists, glaring at the man standing before her.

"Jen—" Lisa began, but Jennie cut her off sharply.

"Why did you bring him here?" Jennie demanded, crossing her arms and glaring at her best friend. Her daughter, Ari, stepped in, trying to defuse the tension.

"He's here as my dad and Aunt Lisa's husband, Mommy."

"Then you should've visited their house, not brought him to mine," Jennie retorted, turning to her daughter with a look of disappointment.
"I really want to apologize for everything, Jen. It's not like I cheated. Why is it so hard for you to accept me again as your daughter's father?" Jungkook spoke softly, his tone trying to soothe the tense air filled with Jennie's anger.

Lisa placed her hand on Jungkook's chest while Ari stood by his side, all looking at Jennie, who was fuming.

"Ugh. Do whatever you want," Jennie rolled her eyes and stormed upstairs, leaving the room in a huff.

"She'll be fine. I know her," Jungkook said reassuringly as Lisa and Ari smiled at him. Ari turned to her father and gave him a warm hug.
An hour later, after Lisa and Jungkook had left, Ari knocked on her mom's bedroom door. When no one answered, she headed to Jennie's office, entering with her head hanging low.

"Mom?" she called softly.

Jennie hummed in acknowledgment, still focused on her paperwork. Ari walked slowly towards her mother and began giving her a gentle back massage.

"Uhm, Ari?" Jennie said, glancing up. "Yes, Mom?" Ari answered cheerfully.

"I have a friend, more like a business partner, who wants to meet you and have dinner with us tomorrow," Jennie said straightforwardly while typing on her computer. Ari's excitement grew, but she had questions swirling in her mind.

"Is your friend a girl or a boy, Mom?" she asked curiously.

"His name is Kim Taehyung."

The moment Jennie mentioned his name, her heart raced, and she blushed, unable to explain why.

"Kim Taehyung? Why does that name sound so familiar?" Ari murmured softly, but Jennie heard her.

"Do you know him?" Jennie asked. "It feels like I do, but I can't remember where from. Okay, I'll get to know him tomorrow," Ari said innocently.

"He's your Uncle Jin's younger brother," Jennie explained, leaning back in her chair. Ari sat on her desk, looking surprised.

"Really? Then I'll get along with him too!" She clapped her hands joyfully. Jennie smiled as they hugged.

"Yes, he's a good person. I think you'll like him," Jennie said softly, feeling a mix of anticipation and nervousness about the dinner.

The bond between mother and daughter was evident as they shared a moment of joy and excitement for the day ahead.
